Versed IV?

I briefly remember a post where negro was discussing the amazing potential of IVing Versed. What exactly type of drug is it? or what is it used for?
 
Versed is an IV prep of midazolam, a benzodiazepine. One of the more enjoyable ones, so I have heard.
 
it's a benzo and a *very* euphroic one from my experiences. I had some after a surgery and it blows any other benzo that i've ever tried out of the water.
 
you'd either have to have a very high tolerance to benzos or use a very small amount. i got iv'ed with that stuff when i had my wisdom teeth taken out, and i could feel it when it hit me, and then bam i wake up and everything is done. it seems like its pretty strong.
 
is the oral variant (dormicum) similarly euphoric? i think i also got IV versed when i had my wisdom teeth removed - thankfully it wasn't erased from my memory. the flash was intense, i felt like i had to grin like a motherfucker =D if it seems worthy, one might look into trying dormicum (i'm not into needles, although i think it's the way to go)
 
Sadly we here in the US do not have midazolam in a pill form. The reason, of course, being that if we did, we'd use it to date-rape people. All other peoples on this planet are apparently more civilized and mature so as to not make that a problem. We do apparently have a syrup form of versed, but it's never prescribed, as far as I know. It seems the only use of this wonderful benzo is in hospital or ambulatory settings, primarily for pre-op sedation.

I've heard the oral forms are not euphoric the way IV versed is. I've had IV versed several times and it is truly wonderful. Other than an opiate, I cannot think of anything else I'd rather have injected into my blood stream in large quantities.

I'd love to know if anyone has successfully IVed a Dormicum pill. Sounds dangerous, and I'm sure doing so is as impracticable as injecting a valium. If by chance a dormicum pill acts like a Knoll 8mg dilaudid when added to water, I would have to look into getting some of those pills.
 
I was about to ask the same thing, infinity. I have nothing against needles, but I would rather avoid having to prep pills for injection, and just swallow them if they are nice orally.
 
No i wouldnt say that because I've never had the oral form. I do recall hearing (on here, I think) that the oral form is not as effective or as euphoric as the IV. My only experience with midazolam is with IV versed. I'd like to try the foreign dormicum pills to see what they're like, but honestly, when is taking something orally ever like injecting it?

probably never, and i'm well aware of that. i was just wondering what the most euphoric oral benzos are.. so far i think rohypnol and dormicum.
 
So you do find oral dormicum to be euphoric? How much do you take, 15mg?

Next time I go to my doc, I'm gonna see if I can somehow get a scrip for the Versed syrup we have here in the States.
 
i 've never expirienced any euphoria from benzos except for the one time I had rohypnol, even then it was comparable to a maybe codeine.
 
Well, euphoria is relative. No benzo euphoria is going to compare to opiate euphoria. You're comparing rotten apples to really fresh, juicy oranges in that case.
 
is euphoria really relative?All I was saying is benzo euphoria is pretty non-exsistant and one of the best benzos is comparable to one of the weakest opiates. Basically you reinterated what I said.
 
Ive had IV Versed and was quite impressed. It was better than any number of xanax pills you could take, but theres something about opiates that make then that much better...maybe its a little thing called euphoria
 
When I had a nasal bone fracture and septal repair I got to experience this wonderful drug in combination with Fentanyl. The plunger went down on the Versed and then the Fentanyl. At first nothing and then I...........

It felt great and I damn near told them I love everyone.:)
 
^I've had versed in the exact same setting. However, my shot was IM (buttocks) but it was mixed with some sort of antihistamine/anticholinergic, so it would dry out my mucous membranes or something. I was also on a fentanyl drip.. I woke up soooo high. It was a painful operation, after I got out, i mean. But, i have no more sinus trouble. Anyway, about the versed - I don't remember what it felt like, sorry.
 
I got a demerol/versed/sodium pentothal(i think) IV'd when I got my wisdom teeth out 3 days ago. The only think I remember was asking them what they were IVing me, and then saying "Im gonna puke". And thats all I remember. I apparently puked a lot though...
 
^^^They dont use sodium pentothal for dental work. They dont use barbituates in general, due to many safe alternatives.

IV versed is the best you can get with benzos, its one of the few times benzos actually got me nice and euphoric. Self-administration is dangerous if you dont know what your doing you can easily kill yourself. I had the luck to get some ampules of versed, and i had a nice time with them. I like getting to point RIGHT before you pass out. Dont fuck around with these ampules if you arent sure about what your doing, you could easily die from respiratory depression, go read the rxlist.com warning about it...
