Before i post my actual question, i can't seem to find the rules on the subject. Is it against the rules to ask for verification that a vendor is a reliable source in a post and them pm the website name to another member in order to get a good idea of how reliable or unreliable a specific website may or may not be?

Without knowing the name of the vendor, one cannot say whether or not they are reliable.
So yes to even ask your question would be to break a rule. The mention of a name of a vendor is against Bl policy.

Btw props for going about it this way instead of just outright asking "is X an ok vendor?". Thank you for thinking ahead first. I really mean that :D

A direct quite from the Bluelight User Agreement reads -

use Bluelight in any way, shape or form for unlawful purposes, including, without limitation: attempting to solicit or obtain contraband substances or substances of a quasi-legal status; or information on how to do so; posting or exchanging any information on ongoing or future criminal activity, or any information which can be construed as discussing such activity; actively encouraging others to engage in criminal activities;

lol. well i got a drug solicitation warning for posting about rc's last week so i wanted to make sure it was ok before i just posted it and common sense says if you have a reputable vendor don't make it public knowledge, it will just end up getting found out that much quicker.

Is there any possible way i could get an idea of vendor credibility without breaking the rules?
