Heroin Vein health and Questions about missing ...

Ive been hitting the same vein with clean as a whistle - micron filtered oxy for over a year now using 31g needles without any problems at all until I had to switch to black tar and suddenly I cant hit that spot anymore ... and I miss CONSTANTLY now ... it seems like if I draw back and get blood, then start plungin (and I go slow as shit with this crap), that within 10 seconds im starting to swell tissue and im not in a vein anymore ... what's weirder is I can stop, pull back and still get blood yet when im injecting, im swelling tissue ...
WTF is up with that? Can you be in a vein yet shooting outside the vein at the same time? What if its a weak vein?

It seems the only veins I can SOMETIMES hit now are deep in the forearm (1/2" down) and when I hit that, it's consistent and perfect yet it seems to be ever elusive especially now that im swelling up tissue all over the god damned place.

More questions:

When I miss and swell up, the skin along the vein seems to toughen up like leather and it seems like I can't penetrate it ever again like I use to and the swelling in some areas hasn't gone down in over a week. Should I be worried?

What exactly is an abscess? Are they hardened nodules under the skin?​
Ive also noticed that veins I've hit even once, which were before ropeish and spongy will the next day have a hard knot where I hit the day before and that knot never seems to go away and along that vein when a few of those accumulate, I can't hit that vein anymore... what is that? The vein feels like it has nice definition, but its no longer spongy and it wont hit.

i don't have BTH experience, only powder, but could it be the dope you're getting that is destroying your veins? i mean tar doesn't sound to healthy to IV ( i know a lot of people do it ) but isn't it usually smoked? maybe try that instead until you get something easier to shoot? i think smoking gives a rush just like IV would. i just answered your Q's with more Q's lol damn, hope i helped in some way.
 
LOL ... you did .... kinda .. how do you smoke BT? Same as you do speed ... with an oil burner?

My dealer shoots it 4 to 5 times a day and doesn't complain at all.

I don't want to smoke it ... fuck me why cant I have my oxy back .... I dilute the fuck out of the BT and filter it well ... maybe I'll just micron filter a bunch of it and store it in media bottles like I do the oxy ... maybe that would sufficiently clean it up (assuming thats the problem of course).

i don't know how to smoke it.. i know it's usually on foil and holding the lighter underneath to vaporize it but not burn it and you move the foil so the H doesn't stay in one spot, there are threads here that explain how to smoke it..

Also keeping H in water too long turns it into morphine so a stored solution wouldn't be a good idea unless you want morphine.

Sorry i can't help more, i have never even seen BTH in real life, only pics on the internet (that's how little i know about it)
