Vaporizer Question?

Hello! I am looking into purchasing a vaporizer but had a few questions before I plunk down $100-$200 for one (if not more if I decide it's necessary). I suppose the most important question is how much cleaner is it smoking from one of these? I know that might be a silly question but still, I don't want to inhale the tar and whatever other nasty stuff that comes with herb, id like to keep my lungs as healthy as possible. My other question is about personal experiences, i'm looking to get a Magic Flight Launchbox portable vaporizer, it seems reasonably priced and it's very small which I like because I'd rather not have a big box and a tube to use unless it's the better route to take. Has anyone used of these and if so what did you think? Was it a lot more cleaner than a pipe or a bong? Thanks so much for help in advance everyone!
 
I have owned the Volcano Vaporizer, Super Vape Zilla, Silver Surfer Vape, Magic Flight Launch Box. So I can help you.

First things first. The launch box is nice and all for the quick toke in the car while your doing earrings. However, this thing is hard to get the technique down and you usually end up turning the herb black. It packs small powerful vapor hits which does not have a very good taste. I do not know if its the wood or its the herb just being vaped at a higher temp that it should be. I mean this lil box produces vapor in about 3 seconds. Its a cool little box but get one of the cheaper alternatives. I forget the name but if you search you will find like 40 dollar launch boxes of the same quality just a different brand. I personally do not believe this box offers the health benefits as say the Silver Surfer Vape and should only be used on the run and not as your main toking device.

Ok my favorite desk top vaporizer would be the Silver Surfer Vape. Why? Because its the cleanest vape I ever had owned. The herb taste sooo good in this thing. Set the dial to about 1 or 2 o clock and wait about 5 minutes to heat up. Then pack your herb in the whip and draw slowly. You can vape a small amount of herb and get huge soft vapor clouds for a very long time and this thing never turns the herb black unlike the launch box.

I get very very fucking stoned off a small amount of herb in the Silver Surfer. Just wait till the vapor clouds you are blowing are nice and gentle you dont want the temp to high producing "thick" clouds. Hold your hits in for about 3 Mississippi seconds each hit. Be patient. Smoke a good amout of vapor and then turn your machine off.

You do not get high as "fast" as you do as smoking a blunt. I find that usually after I'm done Vaping the high creeps on you.

I have been smoking every day with the silver surfer for about 4 months now. My lungs definitely feel better. I been smoking herb daily for 10+ years.

Making the switch to vaporizing is the way to go. However its still bad for you just so your know but in comparison to smoking is much better. After smoking 4 ounces through the tube the herb stays in there is a small amount of residue. Now try smoking 4 ounces by combustion through that tube and see how black that tube is. That right there tells you how much healthier it is.


I just like the silver surfer more than any other vape I have owned and thats my personal preference. Its right in your price range too! Well maybe like 50 bucks more but much worth it.
 
Thanks very much for your help. I think i'll avoid the launch box based on your post, it seems like getting a vape that isn't portable might be the better way to go. I'll look into the silver surfer even though it's a little more than I'd like to spend. I saw that there are some pretty cool vapes called Hotbox's that look nice and have gotten good reviews as well.
 
I have a Volcano and I'm *very* pleased with it. Not only weed, but every herb can be vaporized due to the accurate temperature setting.

It costs a lot, but it pays itself back right away, because you use a lot less product. I can get high of 25mg (yes, milligrams) high quality weed for 3-4hours.

I have friends who paid 2-300€ for a vaporizer but they all say they should have paid the full 500€ for the volcano, because it's so much better.

Not hard on the lungs at all.
 
I've owned volcano. It's over priced and I enjoy silver surfer more and get just as high and save as much and its a lot cheaper and is just as easy on the lungs. Only down side is a whip needs a slow draw while bags are.easy to share and no inhalation technique needed
 
I'd recommend an Arizer V Tower vaporizer, i have one myself.

I found after knowing a few different things, i can maintain and enjoy a nice tasting hit :) ,
Maintenance is easy as far as cleaning goes.
 
I have an MFLB and it's good. My lung function is also good, thank you. %)
