hey guys, i dunno how much this has to do with HR really, I guess it's reduces the harm of smoking pot but there isn't really any, besides the plant materials that burn along with the THC in the bud.

To my knowledge the plant materials is what makes the pot harsh when it's smoked. Correct me if I'm wrong on any of this, I prob wont re-read any of it and im rly high right now anyyway.

I used to smoke bongs. I got fed up with the water splashing up, the constant water changes and the spin I'd smoke. It was just disgusting to me. All my mates used [removed in response to received complaint - considered offensive, racist] ***** bongs (plastic bottle + hose/pipe) which I think tbh makes it more disgusting, I don't know how many times I've smoked through someones dirty bong that every other persons put their lips over from that day/night. Dunno how I fkn did it lol.

anyway, I researched it up (fair while ago now so I'm a bit rusty on stuff shh) and I came across the whole "Vaporizer" invention. At first I was a bit like ah yeah, that'd cost alot. I had seen it in weed docos like Super high me, where hes smoking from the Volcano vapes bag. I found out its completely healthy for your lungs and do this day I havn't found any bad things it does even from long term use, its completely safe. Now in saying that I'm not saying smoking weed has a big impact on your health, I'm saying smoking it like I did (and I know alot of ppl do the exact same easily) is pretty much very unhealthy and theres an easy way to save it all.

I purchased a cheap vaporizer online for my first one, On receiving it, I was pretty disappointed with it, I guess you get what you pay for really. It was one of the glass dome ones, pretty terrible if you ask me. Me and the gf smoked through it, didn't really do much, just a light high with it. the air/vapor ratio is just terrible, and the whip functions I don't really care for. After I found out this was a peice of crap, I ordered a decent priced one from a reseller here in Aus. It was an alternate to the Volcano which ranges to about [price removed] (way to much if you ask me). The one I bought is called Extreme Vaporizer, costs a decent price [no prices, for anything] but I think it's the best thing I've ever bought in my life. Like srsly, this thing kicks ass. Its saved money, you get more out of your bud, the taste is just great, so pleasant and you can really taste the difference between each bud. and best of all its saved my lungs.

The bag functions, ie Volcano, Extreme Vaporizer. Are the most effective. And I think give a better high than a bong hit. The hits are also longer lasting. Packing about half a gram into the bowl, gives about 3-4 good bags out of only half a gram. the first 2 are the most fresh tasting and potent. The last 2 are quite stale but it's still enough to have bags from it. After you vape it, it turns from a green to a brown colour. Some ppl smoke it later, some ppl cook with it. Used to smoke about a ounce a week, with this I probably smoke about a quarter max. Alot of difference, and the highs are so much better. Nice and clean. I don't know what else I was going to say about them. Ill add it later if I've left stuff out (no doubt)

If you really like to smoke your bud, I suggest you try/buy one of these, You won't regret it, best thing I've bought EVER. Had mine for about 6months or so now, still running absolutly fine. although I've had to buy some spare parts (being high around glass is a careful process) I dropped 2 parts of mine in the same hour on the cement after cleaning them, was heart broken. lucky theres ebay. I don't think they're really a "group" thing, I really think it's more single person use unless you share bags with gf or a mate. I don't really like the idea of other ppls lips on my shit anymore after those wild bong days. Absolutely put me off weed in the end. til i found the holy grail.

peace

There has been recent discussion here on this topic. xtc123, in future, please UTFSE before starting another thread. Bumping an old one helps keep things in one place.

I would vape my bud if it weren't so frigging expensive to buy one.

And what a load of shit you can't even name the price of a vaporiser bought from a store.

I thought the no pricing rule was so nobody can dick size about their dealers prices and because every region has different prices. How does that apply in this case?

What a nanny forum.

mate your wrong...in the short term yes its an expense but vapes are so efficient you'll literally smoke up the entire value of your bud so to speak (no thc is wasted compared to other methods.) in the long run you'll probably save money and your health

+1 as long as you have a quality vape.

Also you get to cook with all the bud that has been vaped and the health benefits are amazing.

From what I've heard/read and IME higher quality weed (higher THC% ) will be much harsher and make you more likely to cough your lungs up than lower grade bushy type weed (low THC% ).

The plant material itself will obviously have a harshness to it when smoked but IME dense hydro buds containing a much higher level of THC compared to leafy bushy buds feel much harsher than the lower grade stuff when smoked. I'm not sure if it's the increased THC content itself or simply because high potency buds are far more resinous than the looser, leafy, bushy stuff.

When you smoke pure trichomes the smoke produced is very hot and harsh, this is what you are getting about regarding the higher quality product as it usually contains a lot more trichomes.

We don't permit price discussion for anything. The exception is when a figure is mentioned in the news. That's pretty much how it's always been here.

However, I'll soon be out of the picture and the rule may at some stage be changed, depending upon where the mods want to take things. My bet is that if price discussion is permitted, it would create more work for the mods, as well as cause additional problems with product placement/spamming.

What a nanny forum.

If you don't like it, allow me to suggest an alternative that starts and ends with a wave :)

^ Yeah as far as I can remember since I joined we didn't discuss the exact prices for items like that. It's not too hard to do your own research and find the cheapest place to buy it from yourself.

I have read about people jamming the whip hose into the downy of a bong to get the vapor to be smoother.

Probably just better off taking smaller tokes though

That's beside the point. How long the rule has been around was not quite the question I was asking. I can't think of a single reason why the price of that vape should have been edited out. Just wanted to point out how suppressed this forum is.

Yeah funny enough my mate just bought a vape on the weekend. It was a strange experience, like sometimes the bud got too hot and we were pulling in smoke, although sometimes at the right temp you could pull for ages, then as soon as you blow out it would just hit you sooo hard, and you wouldnt blow smoke out either which made it extra amusing. Whats the right temp to use? (Could google this but seriously cbf lol)

157 degrees celsius to vape the THC. Between 170 and 190 degrees celsius to vape the CBD then 200 degrees to vape whatever is left.

I use a 4 foot custom Volcano bag and start at 157 for 20 seconds then turn the gauge up to 190 to fill the bag. The entire bag ends up getting filled with vaped product that has gone through the entire temperature range. I usually do a final 1 foot bag at 200 degrees to finish whatever is left. Then you get to cook with the revape.

I'd suggest buying a cheap infra red temperature gun if you have a cheaper vape that doesn't have a digital display so that you can measure the temperature of the air moving around the filling chamber as opposed to the heat of the element that some units provide.

The original volcano replacement bags come as one big roll and you just cut them to size. They are actually quite cheap.
