Hi. I get my bupe and my benzos from my psychiatrist whom I`ve known for 5 years, was there after one of my OD`s and was generally open minded, except he knew I was seeing outside doctors to get more benzos as well, and we, now he`s trying to ower my benzo dose which at the beggining of the year was aroud 10-12mg conazepam a day, with ocassiona backout binges on a kinds of benzos, I reay wanna get off them and I´m on 2mg clonazepam a day now, and with two bupe patches (10mg+5mg), anyways to go straight to the point someties I misuse my bupe, and resort to tramadol, which I`ve been taking on and off for years, I have another doc who scripts me Tramadol and Zolpidem (200mg and 20mg a day and a night respectively), well generay I aways managed to get by without real opiates but without going into w-d with these 2 drugs, I know that tramado is a ssri and snri as we, and I reay wanna quit, and dunno if I must, here´s my main question.
To get me on just 1mg clonazepam a day and to maintain my bupe dose he made me take 500mg Vaproic Acid a day, about 2 months ago I said I started taking it, he gave me enough free samples I forgot about them, I lost them and didn`t want to take them cuase I remembered I tought to mysef that I`d have to stop taking tramado, but doing some research I`ve seen peope presrcribed much higher doses of Valproate-Valproic with SSRI or SNRIs and aso Valproates have anticonvusant properties, so woud it be safe to try and taper from the Tramadol using bupe and benzos (I`ll get some more assorted sampe packs)...and since work is on hold until mid-October I decided I might give Valproic acid a go, I`ll start with 250mg, unless there´s a reason I cannot mix it with tramadol, which I take 200mg a day, was planning on doing more tomorrow asI have to socialize and I have plenty, which I wanna use to taper to 75-50mg a day and then gradually off, and I guess Vaproic wi hep stabiizing my mood during that dreaded w-d month, and bupe will actuay get me high if I want to...
If I can start taking 1000mg Depakote a day I could, according to my shrink drop to 5-2,5mg diazepam and start to taper to quit benzos and get 10mg more of bupe, which woud hep I guess, cause tramado it`s a pain in the ass out of need and is all I can get down here... Methadone as well....but I prefer to have bupe and get Methadone on trips outside as a rare (or not so rare as of late
treat), anyway going on a tangent, thing is unelss it`s planned with the bupe tramado is the only opioid I can take without going into w-d`s.
oh also woud Valproic acid interfere with LSD?
Thanks a lot, I´m brain dead atm, so further thanks for heping arranging my shit back on track and stick to one dosing schedue, trmado sucks compared to bupe, even transdermal bupe anyway, oh if you have any valproic horror stories let me know...
