Valiums (170lbs) 1st time

2mg is mild starting dose. 5mg will make you sleepy usually if it's your first time. just don't drink alcohol with it and OD, or any other drugs for that matter.
 
2mg of diazepam is not going to effect most people.. If you have no tolerance to other benzodiazepines then 15-20mg will provide a nice sedation. Valium never really made me prone to blackouts, like xanax does. Unless you start drinking. I find that 15mg of valium is equal to about 1mg of xanax or 1mg of klonopin.

Yeh i would agree with this, if you wanna experience something that will be a noticeable effect then i would say go around 20mg.
