Possible to take valium and not get addicted, more like a functioning heroin addict, you read about then. I suffer with extreme anxiety although when im indoors its not an issue its just when i come in contact with real people i beome a total mess valium is an absolute godsend for me. I was thinkng something like two days on two days of then maybe go from there maybe up it to 4 days on 4 days off, i do believe i have the will to do this without it my having to fk my life up, you wouldnt believe the person i become after a few vallys its unreal, any experienes to share any warnings about this ?

I honestly believe i can beome a funtional valium user without getting addicted am i diluded ?

Stupid question dont answer am i on the right trak of thinking here considering my extreme anxiety ?

I'm in the same situation right now with Serepax (oxazepam) although I have had a previous benzo addiction. I think that ideally you want to avoid using on consecutive days unless really necessary. 'Normal' people can - allegedly - use benzos for weeks on a daily basis without becoming addicted, but people who are naturally anxious are much more vulnerable to addiction. 4 consecutive days of use would be extremely dangerous.

Also, valium has such a long half life that if you dose enough on one day, you will almost certainly have a 'therapeutic' amount in your system the next day and even the day after. In the past, when I needed to be calm but not wasted, I would use valium not before an event but 24 hours before for this reason - to get the residual, after effects of long acting benzos.

It is absolutely possible to use benzos on a PRN basis if you are committed to staying generally sober.

Found Seroxat (SSRI) useful for social anxiety, and it gave its fair share of mild euphoria like Benzos. A bitch to get off, but easy enough to jump onto Prozac, that I've found a piece of piss getting off.
