i guarentee that conversion is correct, at least from an anti-convulsant potency comparison. .5 mg clonazepam=10 mg diazepam, thefore 2 kpin mg=40 mg valium.
also hes probably not a cop he probably just wants to rip you off.

So I drank mild amounts of beer or vodka for about a month with every meal. not a lot, literally one drink not enough to be buzzed drunk what ever. I slowly brought down the alcohol over a month long period.

Benzo withdrawls Suck Ass try not to run out of valium before you end your routine. People knw when you go an drink on work breaks it sucks...

I meant why would a narc want to sell him drugs. I know why they want to buy them. Its the selling part that Ive never seen a narc on the job do. If hes a cop selling drugs, you dont have to worry about getting arrested.

No, don't worry. I admit I have done this very thing before. It is better than doing nothing, if all you have is Alcohol. If you can control your intake, you'll be fine.

yeah thats not a bad idea at all actualy, because your brain is screaming out for some gaba and a little alcohol will do jsut that. i guess this is a paradoxical street version switched around of how they use valium or ativan to aid alocholics so they dont seizsure you know......in this cause your a benzo addict taking a little bit of booze to helo keep you calm. i knwo it helps for me. also, incase you dont know it, the very best quality kavas i have had, some off them have felt almost identicaly on par to how klonopin makes me feel, though it doesnt last as long and makes you all numb like coke. it is a super fucking freaking good anxioloitic, it even chilled out my friend enough to trip on hawaain panaelous tropicalis mushrooms. and he had the time of his life, it was teh first time he didnt beg me for a benzo before the trip lol. peace

Yea I agree too that a little alcohol can help you taper off since you dont have enough diazepam left. Benzo withdrawals are a bitch, but just hang in there cause there will be an end to the hellish WD. Good luck.

Ive been going a bit mad (I think) with Valium recently. I have been taking 30/40mgs per day for maybe 3 weeks, with the occasional 2/3 day break. After a coke binge me and my mate ended up taking a shit load (maybe 60mgs in one go). I woke up yesterday and had another 2, just so I could sleep off the come down. I felt like shit this morning. Forgot to set my alarm and was late for work by 3 hours. Ive been feeling groggy all day. I just wonder if ill be ok to just stop for a good few weeks without any WD effects ?

I feel horrible just now (prob just all booze and coke catching up with me) and could go home a have 20mgs to feel better but thats daft. Please help/give pointers

god benzo withdrawal is horrible i feel for ya man...people have presented several different ways to go about tapering...all should work, which one works the best is subjective really mainly because you've only been on benzos for a month....trust me the withdrawals increase exponentially for every extra month you're on them so it's good you're getting off now. As far as feeling any ill effects, well chances are you will regardless of the tapering, sorry but that's just the reality. It shouldn't be horrible or anything...you might feel really anxious, dissociated, depressed, etc. but it's better to just accept that than trying to pretend it's not going to happen. I, myself, just completed detox from benzos...I tapered down rather rapidly over 3 weeks(i was taking 4mg of kpin a day) but then have had to deal with withdrawals for the past two weeks. I've been able to live my life more or less...have definitely become very anti-social but that's to be expected. The point is my work has not suffered...if anything the quality has increased. You mentioned you're fear of being caught so that's why i included the personal reference...just remember, your anxiety WILL increase and that is the only thing that might run you into troubles at work...just be mindful about the cause of this anxiety and try to relax. You might feel like you're on speed some days and it's a good idea to avoid caffeine and other stims for this next little while...again realize it's just getting off the meds that's causing this and be grateful that you're quitting valium now.

On the other side though, maybe you should consider some kind of treatment for your anxieties...perhaps meditation, yoga, or even running. I guess you could get on an ssri, but then again that's something else that's hell to get off of.

Benzo taper tends to go at an exponential rate - ie. the lower the dose, the less the cut. Try cutting off 5mg every week till you're down to 10mg, then from there, reduce 2.5mg/week, and towards the end, start taking your doses every-other-day, then every 2 days...etc.

I have to disagree with part of this. You're at 40mg a day, so cut the dose by 2.5mg a week, which of course will mean you're dropping by 10mg a month. If you drop by more than 2.5 a week, you'll get a lot of shitty withdrawal syndromes. Before that though, the first thing I should mention is that you must stabilize your dose before you begin your withdrawal. That means maybe 10 days at a dose that will be your starting point; for this example let's say 80mg a day. If you're going from 80mg to 40mg, you can afford to cut by maybe 5 to 10mg a week; as Jam said, it's dose dependent, and you should go more by percentages of a cut rather than by milligrams. The general rule is to not cut by more than 10% a week, but that can be stretched a bit up at the 80mg mark. Once you get to around 40mg though, 2.5 a week is the way to go. You can cut faster down to 20mg, but you'll only get a bunch of shitty withdrawal syndromes. If you want to avoid the withdrawal syndromes, cut by 2.5 a week. You'll still get some discomfort, but if will be nothing like if you cut by like 5 or 10mg a week. Once you're down to 20mg, you'll likely have to go slower, but the last 10 is the worst. Keep in mind that they make 2mg Valium pills, so if you need to you can cut the dosage by 1mg a week until you are off. That's all I have for now, but I may be back later to expand on this advice. To anyone reading this who is withdrawing from Valium, good luck, and remember, be patient and cut slowly, based on how you feel. You'll make it through; just go smart and slow.

fuck been trying to withdraw for ages or quit benzos its soo hard when doc say this what i script u for what going wrong in your life i don't have to doc shop as i used to.
I one fluitnitrazepam now i always thought by the time i live another 10 years (if i do) i would be on them but i on them now.

oh i found a few more going through my draw..: stemzine (prochlorperazine) Neulactil (pericyazine) and Zyprexa Olanzapine.

Any advice on the above i haven't used them much i know pericyazine is like thorazine it makes u vegetable.

I doing so crazy WD's now. just using seroquel to knock out but its only working for few hours sleep. fuck i got tolerance to everything even before i have it it takes soo much to knock me out i thinking of mxing catapres with some other sedative drugs to get to sleep and with draw. any advice?

Yeah i just ging to use Gabapentin in high dose to stop seizures and feed my GABA's a bit maybe drink more that always worked and i got some penibut as well. any ideas.
I went from 2 nights ago having rohynols snorted and smoke serval and 2-4 clonaz to last night just having one benzo and seroquel. I gonig with rapid bring on the maddness detox With draw. just have one a day so least there something there but least mostly all the benzos i been on for last while have been long acting eg. clonaz, rohynol, diaz

i get prescribed many valium, i MAKE SURE i dont take them everyday, i do, but not consistontly, considering i was already addicted to oxy and i hear benzo WDs are worse than opiates.
