valium or xanex?

Valium, because I can put them on a string and wear them for a necklace. I really don't think I can tell the difference. 10mg valium equals 1mg xanax.
 
If Klonopins are your favorite, you will LOVE valium, it is in the same class as klonopin. They are all benzos, but there are different types of benzos, and the valium related benzos are more euphoric IMO.

Alprazolam = Xanax
Triazolam = Halcion
Midazolam = Versed

Diazepam = valium
Clonazepam = Klonopin
Temazepam = Restoril
Lorazepam = Ativan

Valium related benzos end in pam
Xanax related benzos end in lam

Anyways, Valium is probably my favorite benzo, without a doubt. Anywhwere from 30 - 60mg and you won't have a care in the world and will feel absolutely wonderful... But do not mix booze with large doses of benzos, as this is an easy way to OD - especially on benzos.

A half life refers to a very specific thing, namely the time it takes for the plasma concentrations to drop by 50%, which is something like 100 hours for diazepam. The 'subjective felt effects' has nothing to do with the half life, so you shouldn't have been using that word in the first place...

This is truth but despite that I tend to take half-life with a grain of salt. Action of active metabolites isn't taken into account with halflife. Also I think you would agree if you have experienced diazepam (as I would assume you have) I would imagine you have also noticed primary effects seem to deminish after a good nights sleep. I know I don't feel half of my original dose 100 hours after administration. Blood plasma levels and subjective experiences I find don't follow more often than they do.
 
I am perscribed 2 mg Xanax twice per day. I've been on this regimen for several years and have a high tolerance. Someone gave me two 10 mg valium the other day and it was such a wonderful feeling. Xanax are definitely stronger, and maybe it's just because I haven't take Valium in a while, but I would choose that V buzz any day.
 
Xanax lasts only a few hours, while Valium lasts all day (for removing anxiety).

0,5mg Xanax gives the same effect than 10mg Valium, but you need to take 0,5mg Xanax 3x/day to get the anti-anxiety action during the whole day.

The both are true.

10mg Valium/Diazepam gives the same effects than 0,5mg Xanax/Alprazolam.
So incident is right.

BUT
10mg Valium/Diazepam last all day, you will need 2 x 0,5mg Xanax/Alprazolam to get an equivalent effect for the same duration...
So FractalStructure is true too...

This is wrong, it was the second benzo' made. Librium was the first benzo' to be made.

You know what's strange, that fact that you have had oxazepam and temazepam alot more then you think! They're both metabolites of diazepam! (Thank you JasonCrest for that info'!) :)
 
Valium is much better than xanax... more enjoyable.... if u want to sleep take xanax if u wanna enjoy urself a lil bit take valium

Are you sure that I said that Diazepam was metabolized to Temazepam? Because I didn't know it...
I thought Diazepam was metabolized to Nordazepam/Desmethyldiazepam then to Oxazepam.

I checked on Google, and saw that you're true, it's metabolized to Nordazepam/Desmethyldiazepam, Temazepam and Oxazepam...

I already had faith in Diazepam as being probably the best all-round benzo and this just strengthens it. A good idea for a whole new thread why not get it posted up jason, I'm sure a lot of people would be interested to know this!

for me and whole my friends xanax almost stimulating!!! i wonder how all the bluelighters find it sedating and sleepy!!
we almost speeding on it it makes u move and want exactly 'enjoy yrself ' some moron even said it like extasy lol!!!!
we got the XR's...
for me its far less sedating benzo than any other it relaxing me and making me wanting advantage like on speed!!!!
 
so it seems that the general consensus is that diazepam (valium) is gives you more euphoria, or is more (recreational) than alprazolam (xanax)?

Or do you think it truly is a matter of personal opponion.
Also since the half life is so long, say I took 30-40mgs of valium around 9pm, would I wake up the next day around noon and still be the effects of the valium?


Trying to choose between the two but only have experience with xanax.

i think that there might be a general trend toward valium as being potentially more euphoric, however i think which one you prefer is ultimately a matter of personal tastes. some people will prefer valium, other people will prefer xanax.

for me personally, i have gotten more euphoria off valium than xanax but valium gives me more of a body load and it leaves me feeling groggy for way too long after the high wears off. i think generally speaking i prefer xanax but valium is nice every now and then because it is more euphoric.
 
xanax is much more sedationg, for me at least, i fell stupid and talk slow even if I take small amounts of xan. I prefer them v cut boys
