Hey all... I am currently under the influence of 20 mg of Valium (Benzos) whatever you wanna call them. I had also taken 2 MDMA pills (Clean). Now my question is that if I were to drink a little bit of alcohol would it be wise? In moderation of course? Or should I just stay away from it completely.

I just feel very very very drowsy...I could lay back and pass out right now but Im also feeling the effects of the MDMA fading in and out.

Any ideas?

Benzos have been known to impair judgment, you don't sound too fucked up from your post though. I know drinking and benzos can be dangerous... *shrug*.

I wouldn't be too concerned with drinking booze.. if anything, it'll make you more drowsy. I once took valium while I was drinking, it made me as if I had no feelings, and I would have easily been fine to beat the crap out of somebody and not bat an eye. So probably not a good idea. Sit back a few and let them rolls kick in. Put some upbeat music on and let the waves hit you. :D

If you feel drowsy don't drink any alcohol.

20mg of diazepam is not a big dose if you have a tolerance to benzos.

Drinking a few beers should not be a problem but i don't know your benzo tolerance..if you have none then alc probably isn't a great idea.

Why you wouldnt save the benzo's for the comedown i'll never know.

Awesome! Glad you levelled out. I'll feel like that Friday night after 3 months of sobriety. But that's normal. My lady and I only do it every 3 months or so.

ENJOY!!!!

Honestly man...I got these from a buddy of mine today and it was the first time I have ever tried them. I took 1 to start (10mg) and I felt fine...Then I took another one and I felt really relaxed and drowsy and I was on 2 hits of E and I just really like how the two drugs were flowing so well together and I left it at that. I know what you mean though in terms of saving the Benzos for the come down but its all good I still have a couple left anyway for later.

So in the end my tolerance is very very low...no tolerance what so ever in terms of Benzo consumption. Im feeling VERY VERY tired and relaxed...If i close my eyes for 5 seconds Ill pass out lol but thank god for music (headphones

EDIT : I was just a litte scared hearing horror stories and all about Benzo + Alcohol consumption being a deadly combo>

You really shouldn't combine benzos with alcohol. Combing respiratory depressants like that could lead to trouble if you are not careful about what you are doing. It's not easy to be careful when you are already in an intoxicated state.

To the person who said "oh you'll be fine" I would just like to know how you would know such a thing? This board is about promoting harm reduction not giving people potentially harmful advice when you know little to nothing about their medical history. :|

Just to add my 2 cents... On Easter Monday I went out clubbing and took 3 e's. Got home and over the course of the day took 4 more. I know my limits and this was over many hours along with a fair number of joints

Anyway, about halfway through we popped a valium (10mg) each and the only effect I got was complete loss of any paranoia. Shortly after, me and my mates took 3 trips each (very weak ones) and I have to say I haven't had so much fun in a long time. One of my friends is known to get a little bit freaked out on acid but this time was so chilled he was even capable of going to a packed supermarket with me - we were given a list of things to get but of course ended up buying the most brightly coloured things we could find, which included florescent fridge magnets.... the checkout girl looked a little bit perplexed to say the least.

Over the course of the next day we must have taken at least 50-60mg of valium and all took another 3 trips - the only problem being that 2 of us fell asleep and missed the next 8 hours of fun.

All in all a very enjoyable couple of days and I went to work this morning with a little less co-ordination than usual (the bad effect of valium) but capable of writing a report to management and chairing a meeting. To this point I still feel incredibly relaxed which would definitely not have been the case had I just been taking e's and trips.

Please don't lecture me about harm reduction, I won't be doing this again and I certainly wasn't planning to, just giving my thoughts on the topic.
