Valium and codeine

Hey guys my first post here but I've been lurking for a while. I take Valium prescription daily and have been for around one year. I'm moving overseas in 10 days to live, so yes I've been taking more than prescribed on certain days as I've been very anxious. I have also been using codeine for around a month for recreational purposes CWE 15/500 Tylenol. I've become tolerant so fast to codeine that when I've done 300mg CWE I feel nothing.
Now question, I've taken 25mg of Valium around 2pm.
I have 450mg codeine to cwe tonight. I don't plan on taking anymore valium.
You reckon that's ok? What time frame should be considered safe?

Note; I've never ' mixed ' the two drugs together.
 
What is your regular Valium dose?

If you've been taking around 25mg daily for a while, you should be fine, however, for the purpose of HR, 300 too 450mg codeine sounds a little high. Is 450 the dose you're now using to get a buzz? Have you experimented with doses around 450 before and know how you react?
 
I've been taking around 350 cwe and it does barely anything. No euphoria nothing, that's why I thought I jump to 450.
But I did have valium earlier today at 2 PM (it's now near 10pm)
 
i used to pop a 10g valium with 300mgs of codeine and that went very well for me, but your own milage may vary.
 
Hmmm...it's been about a day, so I'm wondering, did you take the 450mg dose? Dosing everyday will take the euphoria away from codeine quick-smart. You might still get some sedating effects but otherwise try not dose daily...the longer you wait in between doses the better. Also - an empty stomach is the best way to take codeine. If you take a dose within 1-2 hours of eating a meal expect very little. However, 4-5 hours after your last meal, you'll definitely notice the difference. When I have the morning off, I like to wake up and take my dose immediately on an empty stomach then lie back down and chill...ahhhh....;)
 
Mixing two drugs that cause CNS depression can be dangerous. There's little to gain by pushing the massive doses together, especially when you said codiene isn't working for you anymore.

I have the tolerance of an army when it comes to opana/oxycodone, but I never throw benzos in the mix. A 5mg valium will knock me on my ass, so pushing the dosage will do nothing but make me piss a lot and sleep.
 
Heya yes i took it about 11 hours apart. Again, I got slight euphoria front the codeine it lasts no longer than one hour and then it's gone. I have built up a tolerance and from now on I realise I have to have breaks between. Tolerance has sky rocketed
 
I also mix tramadol in there too but NEVER mix the 3 drugs together. Say I take 200mg tram in the morning then I'll take the codeine at night with Atleast a 10 hour gap. Sometimes I'll put valium in to mix with tramadol just. 5 or 10mg tablet to reduce seizure possibilities however not always and I haven't had a problem yet.

Edit: these drugs I get prescribed. Valium for anxiety (one year now) and tramadol for nerve pain in my tooth) codiene I just buy and cwe the 15mg for fun. I am a NON DRINKER. Don't like or touch the stuff.
