valium after acid?

two of my friends are taking acid (1 hit,decent stuff) for the 311 concert tonight. they were wondering if taking a valium after about 8 hours would help them calm down and sleep. any thoughts? they have no experience with v's before.
 
Take an educated guess.Valium is used to treat anxiety and also a sedative for sleep,so.........

valium might work, but i know that it wouldn't work with Xanax

So to answer your question - yes, some Valium will help with the post-LSD nastieness... if I were you I would take it BEFORethe 311 show, might help make that a little less tollerable as well...

I'm sorry if this offends anyone but VALIUM SUCKS! I don't understand why people take this recreationally. All it does is either make me feel like im going to pass out or put me to sleep. If you want to come down off acid easier take some nyquil or some sleeping pills... fuck valium it's nothing nice.

Benzos are deinately not worthless. They are the greatest tool for finding sleep after a long night. However, I find that Valium is the lowest of the benzos for sleeping.
 
what's pointless is all of this arguing over which benzo is the best/worst. each drug effects everyone differently, if one benzo was the best, wouldn't that be the only one left? instead there are a wide range of options, so that each person can find what works best for them. offering your opinion is one thing, but insults and "don't listen to him"s are pointless. i for example, find valium to be very sedative but hate xanex with a passion (something about forgetting a good four hours of the night that doesn't do it for me.) so try 'em all out until you find the one that's right for you.
