Stimulants valerian for stim comedowns?

I have an issue: im a weekly stim user, and I can't find benzos or opiates or ambien or anything to help with sleep/anxiety/general stim crashes. this has been leading me to seek other things to help with this, like valerian or this other thing called "sleep sound" by gaia. it has valerian/hops/passion flower/poppy/skullcap/other herbs in it and it helps with lucid dreaming, but at the dose i have its doubtful that it would help my 500mg+ methylphenidate binges, or my upcoming first desoxyn binge (i can't wait!) this is causing me to lose about three days of every week recovering from the aftereffects, so my question is, what would be an effective dose of said supplements to help sleep AFTER a stim binge (or just a single use)? I've already looked up threads and different find anything that answered my question. Thanks!
 
In my experience, it doesn't provide any significant relief, other than mild peripheral relaxation and maybe a slight calming sensation. But it definitely doesn't hurt. I'd take a lot, probably three or four times the suggested dose. Make sure there isn't any St. Johns Wort in there though.

Binging on stimulants that way is going to catch up to you and it's going to be rough if it isn't already. Slow down before you gain too much speed.(pun)
 
Indeed, it can't hurt, but don't expect it to be the same as a benzo though. It may be close, but not the same.

As morphonorconic said, you're probably going to have to take a lot since you're coming off a stimulant. I would make sure that herb mixture you're looking at taking doesn't have anything that could react badly with stimulants either. We don't do product reviews here but I can tell you that some herbal mixes have random things in them and its good to pay extra close attention to the ingredient list. Or you could just take straight valerian. Either way, read the label.

anything else just to help with feeling better after a comedown? like OTC stuff, vitamins, herbs, sleep aids, anything?
 
Vitamin C
Magnesium supplements
Multivitamins in general

Kava kava is another OTC herb to try. Sedating antihistamines like diphenhydramine and even better is doxylamine for sleep. Melatonin is helpful too.
 
B6, magnesium and vitamin D all affect melatonin production, get some of those to aid you and your beauty sleep
 
Tyrosine to get up your dopamine levels. Tyrosine is a precursor to neurotransmitters and increases plasma neurotransmitter levels (particularly dopamine and norepinephrine. It doesn't pass the blood-brain barrier easily and competes with other amino acids. So you have to take it 2-3 hours after a meal and wait 1 hour after taking it before eating food. Take it together with vitamin B6 and vitamin C to help with absorption.

You can compare taking Tyrosine for stimulant comedowns to taking 5-HTP after taking MDMA.
