vaginal atrophy reversible?

I learned another horrible thing about this anti psychotic drug Sulpiride...... the 1000% chronic progesterone pussy shutdown leads to " atrophic changes in the urethra and vaginal mucosa, reduced vaginal lubrication and dyspareunia"

atrophic changes to vaginal mucosa,what part of pussy that is? uretha atrophy,explain that please.... is that reversible?? my female friend is shutdown nearly year,this really worry me

The vaginal mucosa is the inner surface of the vagina. The urethra is the tube from which you urinate. I have no idea if atrophy to those body parts is reversible, but I guess it could be reversed if the cause is treated.

What do you mean by "shutdown" ?

I recommend she asks her psychiatrist to switch her to another drug that doesn't affect prolactin levels... or visit an endocrinologist.

But if she's not experiencing those side effects, why worry?

1 all antipsychotics raise prolactin to stratosphere.......... even if she didnt notice it its just matter of time,

prolactin lowers estrogen in women.... it pretty much makes you like post menopause...... I am too depressed to find that again but if you research its no argument this happens

I wonder what would be better vaginal estro or oral estro pills like antiC for her

I'd choose vaginal cream as it has a more localized effect (i.e. less side effects)
