Can you hear the whisper that is when it starts?
background nosie tht turns to the sounds of an airplane engine
roaring louder and louder
almost as fast as my heart pounds out a beat
Then it starts the panic the thoughts twisting
back and forth faster and Faster
My brain doing summer-sults
tumbling over and over around in my skull
Can you feel it now, can see almost smell it
So far and yet so close i can feel it
taking over, one second at time
Praying for anything to get you out of your own
skin to find a comfortable place
but it won't come.
Seconds turn to minutes and then silence
Silence that is deafing, scaring your ear drums
recycling the silence for more
You want to move, to stop it
Find noise, find real silence that is not
stripping away at your soul
leaving you scared and empty
Finding stregnth to find the pills
something to ease this muddle of a mess
you have become, something anything
It never just leaves it has to stay in limbo
waffling around staying close enough
that you fight for reality
usually sleep takes over from exshaustion
usually reality comes back again
usually i can handle it
Usually is not today
