Usual Methadone Doseages?

I got a apt. tomorrow and will be getting a dose of methadone. Im curious as to what the dose will be for a first timer. I have to drive 2 hours away to do this and wake up very early. I take valium twice a day and got high earlier if that makes any difference. Im curious if it will be worth my time or not.

think 30mg is pretty standard the first day, and depending on your tolerance you wont need much more, i personly think many ppl are on higher doses then they could have course they wanted to get on a high dose so they still could get high, well guess what tolerance is a bitch and then you got a nasty methadone habit your never comming off, id say try and aim as low as you can, still you should not be sick, and you should could function, so find they dose that matches you with the clinic

its pretty euphoric right? basically will I be high for awhile? I took some last week and it was just boring and reminded me of Subutex but not as crappy but I only consumed 8mg.

Methodone xr

I was just prescribed methadone 10mg twice to three times a day. I was on hydrocodone for a few years and it got to where it would not work for my pain. I was prescribed Opana er for about 4 weeks and it was like I had never taken it. It had nothing to offer. So, today I was prescribed the methadone extended release and was wondering what I should expect, feel, etc... I have never gotten high off of hydros and that is taking two 10's at once. Never felt anything from Opana and Marijuana does not affect me mentally or help with my pain.

Please let me know if I should start a new thread for this.
