Using Xanax for 2 weeks then going cold turkey. What will happen after a ct withdraw?

I want to use xanax just for two weeks at 1-2mg mainly to help me with anxiety during the day. I my doctor only has given me a two week supply so after this 2 week supply is over, I should be good right? I dont want to go back and do another doc visit for more so I can wean off. If I can avoid that.

Two week xanax use, 1-2mg with a current low tolerance, have not taken xanax since february so im not already a regular user it will just be 2 weeks of use then no more. And I plan on not taking it afterwards. Should I be alrght or will I suffer withdrawal. If I wont be able to cold turkey I will just tell my doc I prefer a switch to valium since to my knowledge valium is less addictive due to it being less potent and longer lasting.

You will be fine (from a safety and seizure standpoint) after cessation of benzos after a period of 2 weeks. Stop after the 2 weeks and never look back...It's a cycle you don't want to become a slave to.
