Bupe Using short acting opiates to taper off suboxone/subutex rather then taper to 0

Anyway about the Kratom, if anybody has any ideas how to take plain leaf, or how are the Maeang Da caps please let me know..cheers.

There are a few ways to take plain leaf kratom. I always buy the 'superfine' powder (as opposed to crushed), this is how the vast majority comes. You can make tea with it, cap it or 'toss and wash' it. I've heard tea has a fast onset, but the idea of drinking that much of anything that tastes like kratom turns me off. Caps are the easiest method of taking it, but it has the slowest onset and I've heard complaints of the caps causing stomach issues. I've always used Toss and Wash, it has a quick onset and the unpleasantness of taking it is over quick. However, it is tricky to master and when you mess it up you will have kratom all into your sinus' which is very unpleasant.

Maeng Da is a 'premium' Thai strain and it was my favorite when I first began kratom. Thai's are more energetic, MD being the most so. Each type of kratom, and even each different batch, has some variance, so trying them all is a lot of fun.

If you go the cap route, I would recommend buying superfine loose powder and a capping machine, it seems the pre-capped stuff has more cost and I've heard it rumored that the quality of leaf in them isn't as good.

I would also suggest the taper for suboxone. The withdrawals should be much more diminished than if just going cold turkey. Taking other opiates, like already said in this thread, would be taking a step backward. Then you're destined to keep using your opiate DOC, becoming addicted to that again, then going BACK on suboxone to help with that. Never ending cycle
