I also posted about this at the psychedelic forum but do not personally have experience with it. It apparently affects opioid receptors and I was curious if anyone here might have tried it.

edit: please move this if it's the wrong forum. I am relatively new here.

This sounds like a tragically bad idea on all levels. Its not going to do anything for opioid withdrawal, and any effect it will have will be very temporary.

It primarily effects kappa opioid receptors, not mu opioid receptors. It's not going to help with withdrawals at all, if anything it could make them worse.

You're right it does.

Sadly I doesn't do a lot for AWS. But it will do something though. I was interested in this too. Apparently a friend of mine tried some 8x ish times extract during withdrawal and felt a bit better ( when they returned to this dimension) but it only lasted a couple of hours then their symptoms came back.

Personally I think the true value is in PAWS, in changing mindset and moving forward in a more positive direction. YMWV of course but if abstinence is your goal it may help promote a positive mindset which will increase your chances of success long term. If that's your goal I would recommend the quid method rather than smoking. Have a sitter too. You don't want to choke to death on stuffed hamster cheeks full of green fibre whilst sliding through salvia space.

Always, always treat with respect.

It could help as Salvinorin has anti-addictive/reset-type qualities (kappa influences the mu and D2 receptors) but imo using it for wd isn't the most ideal thing, there are better options.

This guide was specifically written to address opioid WD and more importantly to prevent relapse. Fully otc, nothing expensive or experimental used. The items mentioned help to reset tolerances too.
