using robo to lower opiate tolerence

does this really work? how much robo should i drink and in what times spaced out from the opiates? i remember i think phreex had a thread about this, i searched the archive and i couldnt find it. this post can be closed i guess if i get a link to that thread. thanks
 
but what? should i eat it before or after i do the dope and how much should i take? how long before/after?
 
I have heard that taking two teaspoons (which is double the recommended dose) about an hour before you plan to do your H will lower your tolerance. However, I'd make sure you have someone there with you (as you always should, but a lot of people don't). A member of this board (I won't mention names, if he sees this post and wants to identify himself, he will) did this and was the only time he OD'd on his normal dose of H (could have been a coincidence, I'm not sure, but I'd still be extra cautious).
By the way, I have seen a few threads on this before, pretty sure they were right here in OD. Try searching for it, I'm sure you'll come up with something.

I am new to this site, but am familiar with these type of message forums. I am not however, familiar with ROBO, though I am interested in anything that can bring down opiate-tolerance. Thanks to whomever can help me with this.

Robo is Robitussin cough syrup. The active ingredient that *may* potentiate opiates for you is DXM- dextromethorphan- try to get a syrup that has ONLY DXM and not guinefesin (sp?) or other "active" ingredients. Look for "Cough suppressent" only on the label as opposed to "expectorant" or other adjectives.
I don't feel like searching- but I seem to recall seeing a doseage of 40-60 mg of DXM being a ballpark for potentiation.
I've occasionally downed some Robitussin (Actually Costco Generic Tussin) before shooting up if I'm particularly low on H but I've never really done any "controlled" stuides on myself to see if it really did help any.

i've heard rumors that dxm can make you test positive for opiods, so maybe there's a connection there.
on a side note, in 'requiem for a dream' there is a shot of jennifer connely chuggin a bottle of cough syrup during one of her withdrawal scenes.
 
according the anaesetist at the Alfred hospital, paracetamol reduces the amount of opiates you need to make them work.
don't know how tolerance may be affected. more than 8 tablets(500mg) in 24 hours is toxic to the liver though.

This has nothing to do with opiate tolerance and getting high. Paracetemal with opiates increases analgesia. This thread was about lowering your opiate tolerance for getting high. Two totally different subjects.

Exactly, analgesia and "high" are not always synonomous.
There is a drug called proglumide which supposedly can minimize or even eliminate tolerance, its not illegal, but is probably not readily available. I think its a CCK-receptor (CCK-R whatever) antagonist.
Immodium (loperamide) works some, but prepared to have some laxatives on hand. If you wanna be experimental you could try some quinine or quinidine (preferable quinidine) that is sold at some fish stores.
Benadryl and hydroxyzine sort of work, but not great in my opinion.
Unfortuntately the only thing that really works, is increasing the dosage.
