Hi all,

I've got a shipment of etizolam freebase and propylene glycol coming in this week and I am hoping that some can share on how they did this so that I don't end up improperly dosing from straight powder and blacking out on too much etizolam (i.e. direct harm reduction assistance request).

I am getting 100mg and 16oz of PG, but will likely only use 4-6oz of the PG for my solution. I'm wanting to create something close to 0.5mg/ml or 1mg/ml. Anything higher is just kind of dangerous. I have oral syringes that are measured down to the 1/2 ml and one that goes to 1/4ml increments so I can accurately measure it, but my MAIN task and concern is getting all 100mg of the freebase (keep in mind it's not a HCL powder) evenly mixed into the (let's say) 4oz of PG.

Thanks in advance for all replies, I've done quite a bit of research on this etizolam, have a really firm benzo tolerance (have been on Clonazepam 1-2mg/day for 18 months, and use Alprazolam recreationally in usual doses of 6mg+ at one time, and when using Diazepam I take a minimum 100mg for recreation. My maintenance for my dependency requires 0.5mg/day of clonazepam though. So there's my background info in case you're over-concerned about me dosing "too much" when I get it. I understand it's approximately 1mg to 10mg of diazepam or 0.5mg clonazepam/alprazolam. Or in other words it's about 1:1 with lorazepam.

I see no one ever answered this. Too bad because my question is similar. I made my last etiz solution with water and found out it doesn't dissolve well in water so I ended up wasting a lot of it. I was thinking of trying PG next time and was hoping to learn more about using it.

Maybe 2 or 3 years ago I bought 200mgs of Phenazepam in powder form.
Not wanting to have a crazy overdose episode every time I took some,I bought a gallon of PG to mix it with. I worked it out to 1mg = 1 ml. The powder did not want to dissolve in the PG until I put it into a heat bath(hot water in a small pot, then dipped the glass jar holding the solution into the hot water). Worked out pretty well, except that PG taste terrible and I didn`t clean the jar out as well as I thought so the PG ended up with a hint of old salsa flavor.
That did not improve the overall taste.

I wouldn't worry to much. PG is a good solvent for most benzos and at the w/v ratio you are aiming for, it should dissolve easily. That you don't have a salt isn't really going to effect anything. Though salts of etizolam could exist, they would likely not be desirable as etizolam doesn't contain any basic nitrogens. If you have compound that doesn't go into solution, just heat your solution in a water bath and it should dissolve readily. If you by any chance have access to anhydrous ethanol, it works even better then PG. I've made etizolam solutions in the order of 20mg/mL and it nearly instantly dissolves in EtOH.
