Will you post the source that says meth is more neurotoxic than MDMA?

I have to be honest, I'm quite afraid of meth, because of its unique reputation in the U.S. as the 'most evil drug'. I do have access to amphetamine, but in a very.. roundabout way. I can't talk about sourcing here, but you get the point.

I have googled around and it still seems like meth is much more neurotoxic than mdma or amp. Plus, the idea of tweaking out for 12-14 hours - I just don't know if I'm up for something like that.

Personally, stimulants are my favorite type of drug, and considering that meth is the pleasurable and addictive out of all of them, that's another reason for me to abstain from it. I will keep looking for amp through my roundabout ways. Sorry, I know I may sound somewhat of a hypocrite ('mdma, coke, and amp are ok, but meth is evil'..), but that's how I feel at the moment.

It was actually a thread from here, from Bluelight. It was highly packed with organic chemistry terms, so I gave up on it. It wasn't exactly this one, but it's close.

Yes, meth abuse turns people into zombies. Yes, some RC's are probably safe. But also yes, alot of RC's COOK your fucking brain. I've watched my best friend go insane in a matter of 3 months of using spice and bath salts, so I think the potential for damage from RC's is alot higher. Yes, you are a guinea pig.

Can you tell me a bit more? I'd be highly interested in hearing about this. And yes, I do believe it, but I love reading stories like this (sorry if I sound insensitive).

I mean yes there's pharmaceutical amphetamine, and why not just use that anyways? I bet dexedrine would be better than any "powder amphetamine" or at least it would be pharmaceutical grade dextroamphetamine with none of the levoamphetamine bullshit.

Doesn't european amphetamine have problems with absorbing water and losing potency or something?

Basically anything that causes euphoria is risky, downers have their long term effects and downfalls as well, like opiates.

You're asking a difficult question only you can really answer. where I live (the Netherlands), speed is a very commonly available and commonly used drug. Most people I know that use it are not addicted. There is definately addiction potential though. I do believe the addiction potential of coke is much greater, as amphetamine works pretty long and is not really something you would want to use in most situations.

However, I think it is a pretty stupid idea to use it for "productivity". Using it for work or studying can easily lead to you using it more often than you planned. I only use it on weekends (not always), when I'm going partying and when I know I don't have to sleep but can keep on afterpartying until next day around noon. If you just use it in that way and promise yourself you won't use it to enhance everyday situations I think you should be fine.

You sound like a pretty cautious person, even wanting to get a milligram scale for this (I don't know anyone who uses a milligram scale for speed). If you promise yourself just to use this for special occassions, and you don't have an addictive personality I don't think you should have too much trouble.

This is nonsense. You can't accurately "feel" how neurotoxic something is. MDMA depletes serotonin, which can lead to "dips", but this doesn't mean your brain is damaged.

Not really. If you want to store it for months you have to keep it in the freezer, but for a shorter time you could just leave it lying around. It definately has recreational value btw.

But if he's not getting it directly from the manufacturer what are the chances it's been stored properly.
And it's recreational value depends on the person, it's subjective. My body hates amphetamine, cant tolerate the side effects, give me good old methamp anyday.

Dealers have larger amounts in stock than the typical user, it isn't that hard to keep that in the freezer. It's not like it has to be sealed airtight or whatever. Just freezing it is fine. I wouldn't worry too much about that, I never had any speed that didn't work.
