Opioids Using Narcan To Induce Precipitated Withdrawal For Instant Detox

If I'm mildly opioid-dependant (2-4mg of suboxone, 30-60mg of oxycodone or equivalent doses of other opioids daily), instead of dealing with three days of hell (too many life obligations, I've kicked over fifty times in my life but I've been going a good five months straight, definitely my longest habit ever, and I just want to make this as quick as possible), would I be able to just inject myself with Narcan to induce a precipitated withdrawal as a form of an instant detox? Don't precipitated withdrawals only last about two hours max? Does a normal withdrawal follow this, making my whole idea completely pointless, or would it just be a few hours of short intense hell followed by freedom from opiates, bypassing the normal 2-5 days I'd have to spend feeling like complete shit? I've scoured the internet and can't find ANYTHING about ANYONE doing this, so any help would be appreciated. I also will have clonodine on hand which I was thinking of taking beforehand, because I've read precipitated withdrawals can raise your blood pressure dangerously, would this be a good idea?

It doesn't work that way unfortunately. After precipitated withdrawals, you'll just go back to being in regular withdrawal.

If it was as simple as taking a shot of narcan, suffering for a few hours to be instantly detoxed, everyone would do it and you wouldn't see so many people struggling with opiate dependency.

Unfortunately, there is no quick magic fix to kicking opiates. Even the actual rapid detox therapy, which is quite expensive, doesn't work a lot of the time and people come out of it still sick.

Would the regular withdrawal be any less intense? Otherwise I'm just going to do a three or four day weandown with a short acting (I found dope to actually have a much more mild withdrawal than hydrocodone in equivalent doses, but that may have been due to lack of benzos when detoxing from hydro).

Which opiate do you think is the easiest to withdraw from after weaning? I can most likely get dope (that may or may not have fent cut in it), hydromorphone, oxrprycodone, and hydrocodone. Codeine if I'm really lucky, but it'll be way overpriced. I know from personal experience that in terms of intensity of withdrawals, oxymorphone is the worst followed by oxycodone followed by diacetylmorpheine, so oxycodone would be a last resort. I feel that because of the short halflife, heroin or dilaudid (hydromorphone) would be the best (quickest and least painful), have never withdrawn from hydromorphone though so I'm not sure how bad the kick is.

Once this is all done I'm going to get a vivitrol shot. Thankyou to anyone for any input

The weaker the opiate, and the smaller the dose, the less intense the withdrawals will be. And no, after a narcan shot, your withdrawals wont really change. They'll be the same as they were before you took it, so it's just going to be a lot of agony for nothing.

I'm curious about this as well, wouldn't the narcan at least shorten the duration of the withdrawal? I've read reports of people using oral naltrexone succesfully. I see no reason why narcan wouldn't do the same, just not as big of an impact since narcan doesn't last nearly as long as oral naltrexone.

For it to impact your withdrawals after it wore off, you'd have to do multiple high doses of naloxone, for hours and hours. Basically, you'd have to keep yourself in a state of constant intense PW's for 6 hours or so.. which is why during a rapid detox done by a doctor, you are put under anesthesia.. the pain would be unbearable. 10x worse than normal withdrawal.

Ever gotten hit with a shot of narcan when OD'ing? Imagine feeling even worse than that, and for hours and hours.

Yeah trust scags on this
Precipitated wd's are no fucking joke, you think regular wd is bad, shit...

But I found the easiest opiate to taper down and wd from is sub
If you only have access to full agonist there all going to be pretty bad, but the one with the shortest half life would be key

Lol I wasn't saying it was gonna be painless and doing this without a cocktail of drugs (within a reasonable limit of course) is insane but I catch your drift. Anyone who would consciously choose to inject a second shot is crazy. I think the reason some find success in naltrexone is because they have no choice but to accept fate after ingestion.

Heroin has a pretty short half life, but if theres a fent cut in it then the withdrawal would be much worse, am i correct? About to test this batch out last time catching a buzz, I'm pretty sure I can identify fent cuts but what are somethings I should look for when sniffing it? A recent batch did next to nothing sniffed, but smoked was great.. Should I try to smoke a little and based on the intensity of the rush be able to tell if theres fent or not? Anything else to look for besides obviously a whiter color to tell if there's fent in my shit? Because if there isnt or its very minimal amount, I'm using this to do a 3 or 4 day taper, biting the bullet for a few days then getting the Vivitrol shot.

And how long do you have to be off of opiates to take Vivitrol? How would it effect you if you were still in mild withdrawal when you were given it?

Thanks once again to everyone who responded.
