Using Naltrexone tablets to counteract opiate OD

I've been able to procure a shitload of naltrexome tablets.. 50/902 9... i dabbled around on www.rxlist.com for a while and really can't tell what doseage these are for sure, but i think they're 50mg. I figure that these would be a useful too in case the worst happens. And recently, my friends have been exloring the IV route with Dilaudid and Smack. A little human error can cause distrious consequences. But I hope that with these pills, maybe an embarassing trip to the ER could be avoided.
Can you crush these tablets and boot them like Dillies? Is there any dangers when it comes to your veins? It it just a straight up dangerous act? What would be a good dosage to pull someone out from under. How much time do you have before it's too late?
I've never seen anyone OD on dope, and I'd like to keep it that way. This seems like it would be a great safety device which could hopefully prevent an untimely death.
Feedback is welcome. I really don't know shit about this chem, except that it's an opiate antagonist. I tried to read all I could on www.rxlist.com but right now i'm on so many downers that it's a serious chore.

ps... these are the ingredients that are in the pill... are any of these really bad to mainline?

If I were to use these in case of emergency, the I would do the dope cooking ritual and filter it through a cotten swab. Would that eliminate the bad stuff or would there be damaging particules in the solution?

That emabarassing trip saves lives. Dont take on the responsibilty of this. Though you definately have good intentions, it could and probably will result in someone dying...for good. And it could and probably will result in you being held liable to some extent.

Picture your friend sitting or lying there blue as can be and completely dead weight. This all happens in a matter of seconds and there's really no warning signs. You're not gonna be able to take the time to cook up a pill, filter, and inject...and hope that it works. You call an ambulance or 911 and start breathing air into their lungs.

You will never remove all of that shit, besides:
If someone OD's take them to the hospital. It's not embarassing. If you value your friend's life you will do it, even if you are embareesd.
Like I said you will not get in trouble!
Its hard to give someone the right dose of naltrexone and it often has to be repeated several times, based on warning signs you don't know
Plus when he wakes up ( if he does!), he will be in the most severe, withdrawl ever experienced!
The pills, send the user into complete withdrawl, it is an instant horrible feeling.
Your frend would wish you had let him die!
As a result of the withdrawl you will have to go the hospital anyways.
I have seen people bleed have siezures, etc from naltrexone, it must be administred in a hospital setting, or under instruction by a paramedic.
If you are responsible enough to use drugs, you should be responsibe enough to take care of your friend.
getting embaressed is better then getting charged with manslaughter and trafficking when you call the cops to report a dead body.

Ketamike, I'm not sure how well crushing/filtering would work. The naltrex should dissolve, but my main concern would be the pill would yield a gooey mess impossible to draw anything out of -- I've seen that happen with certain pills before. If I were you, I'd try a test: try dissolving and filtering one. If it works, I'd test to see if the naltrex is there too.... IV the solution into someone high on opioids, and see if it kills the high. Don't do this to someone who has a big tolerance or any physical dependency, as it'll make them feel like absolute shit. (I speak from experience here.)
Assuredly shooting pills is potentially dangerous, but it's a hell of a lot better than an opioid overdose, and if you only do it once, it's really not a very big risk.
Naltrexone lasts longer than naloxone (what the hospital/paramedics give for opioid OD), but you should still watch someone who OD'd to make sure the naltrex doesn't wear off before the smack/oxy/etc, making them OD again.
Also make sure you have immobilized the person before you give them the shot, in case they start thrashing around as they wake up (common). You should also be prepared to call 911 if the naltrex doesn't work, or if person goes into seizures/convulsions from the naltrex -- this is an infrequent but very possible side effect. If the person has been doing stimulants and/or has a lowered seizure threshold to begin with, I would just take them to the hospital or call 911, and make sure to inform them of the fact.
If you have a local needle exchange, I recommend asking them if they can get you naloxone. I obtained a 10mL vial of nalox this way, and it makes it a breeze (and much safer!) to administer a shot if necessary.
Snitch, death from opioid overdose usually takes a long time from when the person becomes unresponsive to when they stop breathing and die. As long as you catch the person quickly and take action as soon as they stop being responsive, you should have time.... just watch their breathing, and don't let it get too slow or shallow.
The safest thing to do is to call 911 or get to a hospital.... but we don't always want to do that. If you have to take care of an OD yourself, hopefully this will help. And remember to try and get a vial of nalox instead of the pills if you can. Care,

Yes, the CRA will prescribe you Narcan if you ask them. The first time I was there, they didn't have any handy, but the second time they gave me a (very) short course on how to safely use it, the Narcan, and a prescription that allowed me to possess it legally.
