Using Meth Glass Bong . .

Hey , Just curious to how to correctly use one of these?

<please don't link websites selling drugs/drug paraphernalia>

I have four questions . .

* The glass pipe containing the tweek in the ball . . . is the other end of that pipe suppost to go UNDER the water ??
* On the top half of the body of the bong , there is a little hole . . I'm guessing you need to keep your thumb over it to keep it all air tight whilst in use ?
* Recommended water usage ? ( half , a 3rd or a quarter of the bong ?)
* Bit of a silly question , but in that picture . . are the two glass stems in the right spot ? All the other ones on youtube seem to have to tweek holding stem coming out the top and the sucking stem coming out of the side , where as it looks definately the opposite on the unit on the attached photo.
