Using heroin every other day and withdrawals

Hello all,

I have been snorting heroin at varied intervals for about the past 3 months I suppose. More recently, I have been snorting them every other day for maybe 2 weeks, it's hard to say. I have noticed a tolerance increase; I now need a full .2 leaning more towards .3 of lower quality (I can only assume) black tar.

My question is in regards to withdrawal, how long can I keep doing this without suffering withdrawals? Is it possible that I am already at the point of withdrawals I just don't know it because I use on the 2nd day of abstaining (meaning the wd hadn't had a chance to kick in)?

Today is my regular 2nd day of not using, I don't feel great but nothing that indicates withdrawal by any means.

Thanks.

Its really difficult to put your finger on the moment when wd becomes an issue when ur still getting into it - but safe to say it looks like they're on the way sooner or later - your tolerance is increasing, your usage is creeping up and in alot of cases the wds will only become apparant as and when you cant access the heroin for whatever reason. Im only chipping at the moment but due to my past dependance my wds have developed a kindling effect - it only takes me 3/4 days consecutive use before I start rattling again. You seem like your just on the cusp here bud id try and slow it down a bit either way - try giving urself 72 hour minimum periods between blasts it should be enough time to notice any physical wd

For me heroin gives me a mood lift and considering your usage maybe you are feeling down because of not using today? Withdraw gets to you when your not expecting it so be vary careful. Also, do you normally 'not feel well' or is it random or even when you use? Im asking because it could be drug related.

When I am using I never feel bad, and no I typically don't feel poorly unless there is a reason (hungover, not enough sleep, situational anxiety, etc.). Sometimes when I've been using frequently for extended periods of time the day after I feel tired and groggy which usually leads to me sleeping all day, it's not an unpleasant feeling like I would imagine withdrawals to be.

If I do end up having withdrawals after today, I know that they will be very mild. What symptoms should I be aware of? Does mild withdrawal include all the withdrawal symptoms to a lesser degree or would it only include a few symptoms?

Well the first time i got withdraws i woke up and i had a 'fever like' feeling. Less energy (your energy lessens when your addicted for longer). Runny nose, legs/joints hurt, not feeling happy. Basically if you are sick or any sick sympotms means that you are withdrawing. There are other symptoms like diarhea. I never had really diarhea when i was sick. The shit would get blocked up from being constipated and then just let out when i was sick.

Nausea is another common one. Also, when you feel tired or groggy the next day, its usually an opiate hangover, not withdraw. Another thing is that since you are snorting (black tar? is that possible?) and not shooting your wds wont be as bad so that is a plus. But, continuing this, even every other day, youll eventually end up fucking yourself and wake up sick one day. Just try and slow down if you can and save yourself from that vicious cycle. Good luck man!

I mix the tar with water in a shot glass and then use an oral syringe to snort it. So you're saying mild withdrawals could include the entire spectrum of wds and not just a few of the lesser symptoms? I always thought some symptoms, like RLS and REAL nausea, were reserved for true oopiate addicts. I have a few clonazepams I'm gonna take to combat my anxiety (I don't do well with anxiousness) if it gets too bad. Any other advice would be greatly appreciated. Also, if I do start withdrawing, I'll know it with 100% certainty, right? Sorry for any typos, I'm using my phone and also nodding a bit :p

I used to use it often. I thought I had it under control until I went a little while without. Withdrawals were nasty. You can't really tell when you're at the point that they'll happen but just take it easy with heroin.

Yeah man the longer your an addict the worse your symptoms are. And yeah if you are sick you are gonna def know that you are. Also everyones different. Some people have certain symptoms while others dont it depends on the person.
