hey all i have a quick question. from what ive read, using dxm may have the ability to stop or reverse opiate tolerance right? and that it works as an nmda antagonist. If my usual dose of opiates is 60mg to get warm and 80 to be stuck to the couch. What would taking 30mg of my opiates along with 30-60mg of DXM? would it feel like 60mg? or am i just dreaming haha

My experience: didn't work at all. Not worth your time.

For NMDA antagonism I prefer to use chelated magnesium, it's not a very dirty drug like DXM is, but I have no expectations of it effecting my opioids whatsoever. Works much better with amphetamines.

hmmm ok. you're saying it didn't potentiate? or didn't lower tolerance? also if i were to crush these last few pills into a powder would it hit harder? just figuring out what to do with these last 3.

Well, maybe Magnesium chelated?

So, i'm prescribed fentanyl patch 100 mcg/hr every 48 hrs, but some (i could say many) times, i'm still hurting bad, and i'm not prescribed any B/T meds. I also take lyrica and amitryptilline (prescribed). I wanna ask you personally, does the chelated magnesium work as a potentiator, maybe at 20-25%, or anything? Or maybe DL-phenylalanine, L-choline or whatever amino-acid..I'm very interesting about it, well, as the weather gets colder, usually the pain gets worse...but i'm trying to be optimist, and see the things in a hopeful manner..thanx, and i wish all the Bl'ers (and all the people, generally) have a nice day and no pain at all..(well, wouldn't be wonderful?)..esp. the kids.:)
