Using drugs in front of non drug-users

I do it a lot when I'm around my girl and her friends (they're anti-everything but cannabis) and nobody usually can tell because they tend to think I'm "drunk" all the time.
 
I've never heard of anyone doing this, but it would be mad funny to walk into a kegger and sit down right in the middle of the party and cook up a shot of dope and slam it. Then just start talking as if you were doing nothing out of the ordinary.
 
I have many friends that are not users yet have no problems hanging around me at parties and all that.. They think its quite entertaining watching a whole bunch of munted mates acting stupid, and thay are great for being the sober driver if we end up going into the city to hit the clubs / venues.
 
yeah, I love being at parties on E when no-one knows, and everyone is drinking. One time my friend's parents freaked cos I was drinking water, they thought I was drinking straight vodka...people just give you wierd looks. No-one suspects anything, until you start bouncing up and down
 
Dont go to house partys on drugs. I sure as hell wouldnt appreciate it. If you are smoking weed then that is fine cause like 95% of people wont mind. but dont go to partys on meth or ecstacy. People do not like that at all and i sure as hell dont. And if you took out a bag of coke or meth at my house i would kick this shit out of you

ahem. anyway, from my experience I find people don't mind if you're on ecstasy, even if they don't approve of it. They might think you're killing yourself with all your drugs, you hedonistic bastard, but they probably won't care too much. after all, as long as you don't make a scene, its your body, right?

"People don't like that". So you can speak for everyone? Just because you don't like it, doesn't mean others don't mind. If I had a house party I'd have no problem with a few friends taking MDMA or speed. I expect plenty of people here wouldn't have a problem with opiates, hallucinogenics, speed etc.

Yes, you'd kick the shit out of someone for doign it at your house, thats fine. Your house, your rules. Doesn't mean that the rest of the world is the same as you.

Ok I like rum (even though my body can't handle it well) but how many guys here drink barcardi?

I reckon the people I know at uni would mind me taking anything harder than weed at their parties if they found out. I've been thinking about taking e's at one of their parties but it wouldn't be particularly fun because I can hardly relate to the group as it is - it would be even worse when we're in completely separate states of mind. Then theres the issue of being found out - I think it's pretty easy to tell if I'm off my chops.

Acid is another story. At a rave I went to two weeks ago I took a microdot. If I didn't tell my sober friend what I was taking he would not have found out. Sadly, the gap between mindstates is even greater. I can barely bring myself to socialise with anyone not of acid as well. I'd probably just wig out in the corner for the whole night.

So going to a partying on drugs with drunk people is a good idea in theory but if they're not cool with it or you don't relate to them well enough, forget it.
 
I haven't really had this problem. All my mates go out and drink every weekend, but they also do weed every weekend and msot of them have tried E once, even if they havent tried it they are chilled with it.

I suggest to you, do whatever you feel and have fun.
 
I say not usually . . .

if it isn't your house, it is important to apply etiquette. If the drugs are for your own consumption (and there are none to share, or you plain don't want to share), they should be done in private. If you plan on sharing, then it is at the discretion of the host of the party. I have seen one too many parties where someone thought it would be okay to bust out one of the harder drugs, only to learn later that there were brothers/sisters of the party home's owner, which eventually led to suspicions that were unwarranted. The bottom line, be cool about it--if the owner is okay, remember also that some people that may be at the party may have issues with drug usage, and you may make them uncomfortable (you don't know who has lost a friend or loved one to a particular drug, so be careful here too, since I have experienced this also). It is selfish to only want to make yourself happy and not consider other peoples' feelings.

On the house party note like AlphaNumeric said, it's strictly your opinion. I rarely go to parties (due to work, taking care of a kid, g/f, etc) or the bars, but if I do...it's quite amusing. I'm the one who only has two mixed drinks or so and I'm completely messed up. Then everyone laughs and says "You have such a light tolerance!". If only they knew ;)

And if I were to have a house party...personally I don't give a shit what anyone does as long as people don't get violent/out of hand. Shoot all the dope you want, smoke all the meth you want...do not get violent. I don't deal with violent situations where people act like total morons (not always, but mainly due to alcohol...which is why I hate bars) and then possible law enforcement is called, etc, etc.
 
Oh, the first time I shot up was in my bathroom at home and I had some friends over. I had one of my friends help me a little and get it all ready, and then the rest of them crowded in and decided to watch.

Ah, 30mg of morphine; three 10mg sevredol morphine sulphate instant release by Naap. I used a wet piece of toilet paper to remove their pink coating, dumped the three tablets into an upturned coca cola can and soaked them in 100 CCs of pure, unadulterated water and dropped a piece of cotton wool onto them. Suck, flick, strain, wipe, tap, prick, ahh.

They all seemed very, very interested in watching me as I pushed that needle into my arm. I didn't really want anyone to see due to thinking it would change their impression of me forever, yet their eyes glistened in the pale sunlight of early afternoon with undivided attention and silence.

I later woke up downstairs on a really comfortable sofa after such a wonderful, wonderful dream. Christ, that was absolutely amazing. Shame I don't remember too much because of the tranquilisers.

Oh morphine. I wub you! =D

As for parties, if there are drugs available I'll most likely be on them! I love injecting myself infront of people who don't do drugs, especially those who're dead against it. Hee hee hee!
 
Sure, do it. They'll treat you differently if you tell them, so don't. Just do some clandenstine drug-taking and have fun.

Assuming everybody's good and pissed, they won't notice a thing.
 
There are only a few people in my life who know I take drugs and thats how I will keep it, my good friends have no idea and I guess if they found out I would be ashamed, it is like I have a secret life.sometimes I feel like saying to them come out with me but I know that the clubs I go to they would never be into.
so back on to the subject ,to me everything has a time and a place so if I were at a friends party who does not take drugs then neither would I,it is pretty obvious to others when someone is on a "different" substance:\
 
I like being on acid around non-drug people and talking to them and blowing their minds...often they don't realize that I am on LSD...some of them do...once some guy asked me if I was on speed LOL I said no, wouldn't touch the stuff. He gave me a surprised puzzled look when I said LSD. =D

Tripping around drunken people kind of gets to me, though. One night, this girl asked me why I was taking LSD...She went into the whole media-fueled "it's bad for you, etc" rant, and I proceeded to get really angry and told her to fuck off....Proud of my courage and decision making, I then went and sat in a corner for a while by myself with my jacket over my head. Then I started to feel really really badly and found her later in the night and apologized. She poured half of her beer on my shirt, and I felt even worse. I decided to drink a few Jaggerbombs as I was coming down, to relieve a little stress...I ended up waking up the next morning next to that chick not remembering anything past the bombs....Since then, I haven't gone to any parties while tripping, as that's only ONE akward/fucked up story I experienced while at drug-free parties while I was in another state of coinciousness.
