Using drugs in front of non drug-users

Basically, I have very few friends, each of whom has become quite close to me (I don't tend to socialise in large groups of people). None of them use recreational drugs or would consider it. They do however get drunk, as in their twisted minds they think this is acceptable. Weed is borderline. I don't think they'd really mind a joint coming out at a party, but they probably wouldn't join in.

When we have house parties, everyone drinks and gets merry, except me! I don't like anything about alcohol, but accept that this is what they do. Do you think it would be a really bad idea for me to go to these parties under the influence of drugs like ecstacy or GHB (or both), or meth? Are these sorts of people scared of drug-users? Would they panic and think I'm going to die (e.g. if I start twitching, as I do on G sometimes)?

Do you ever go to parties under the influence of drugs where everyone is drinking and hide the fact that you're rolling etc? Should I just tell them in advance? Or would this distance me from them (bearing in mind that these are your average teenage/young-adult alcohol drinkers). These are people who attend different universities etc. Not drop-outs (if you know what I mean).

P.S. I don't have anything against drop-outs!
 
I would do it. A lot of people consider alcohol any way. I wouldn't tell them, it is much more fun to be on something when know one knows what it is. Have fun with it who cares they would get over it eventually anyway
 
I do it all the time. But just be careful as sometimes someone will notice that you are having an incredible time but not drinking alcohol and may ask.
Then again it has worked in my favour, that is on a few occasions friends(some close, some not so close) have seen me having a really good time at parties and asked what are you drinking? I told them (depending on who it is) that I hope it doesnt offend you but I had an e and they have been accepting of it because I didnt fit into their distorted view of what a person on "drugs" should act/look like. In fact some of them have taken to e now.
But also remember there are friends out there that dont need to know.
 
when i go to party's i normaly have a bag of soft on me.. and if anyone says anything to me about soft being bad.. then fuck um... they are closed minded assholes... if they really have a problem with it and try to start shit.. ((like some stright edge people like to do)) you can do 1 of 2 things \

leave remember what the kid looks like and next time make sure to avoid him

teach the kid why alot of people think kids get "violent" on coke
 
Well, at least around here, it is cool if you go to a party high, but anything else is almost considered evil. I live in a small town though so go figure. I would definetely not go on meth, as it has such a negative stereotype and people will make bad judgements about you because of that one thing. It also seems that when people get drunk they can get quite oppressive about drug use, even offensive. I guess you just have to know the people and know what they will tolerate.
 
I feel your pain as I have a similar situation with some of my non-drug using friends (aside from alchohol). It all depends on the type of people your friends are. Some would get totally freaked out knowing that there is "illegal" activity hapening right next to them by their friend. They might get insulted. I wouldn't sit down, and whip out your powder and straw right in front of them. Also, E is NOT something you want to do around drunk people, they get very annoyed by the that.

My advice would be if these are close friends, then speak your mind and tell them your concern.
 
why not break out your powder? seriously at alot of collage party's most of the people are underaged and drinking anyway... and on top of that they are probably smoking bud to.. if they wanta smoke bud around me im sure as hell gana hit lines around them... get what you give ya know?
 
Most of my friends would be how you describe yours BBB. They wouldnt do anything except pot. So thats ok, but anything else most of them dont like. I have two friends who like Es and would take them sometimes (may get some this week) but they wouldnt touch anything else.

As for me going to going to parties around my friends drugs that they arent doing; i would be pretty uncomfortable with this and im sure they would too and i wouldnt like to create that sort of atmosphere.
 
My friend goes to college, and I've been up there a few times when they had some wild parties going on all around the town pretty much....My friend and I have done just about everything together, narcotic wise, as he introduced to alot of things, so seeing him as a raucous party guy(which is something I never expected)all trashed at these parties where kids consider smoking two bowls between 13 people as a "pot fiesta" as one particular dumbass commented, kinda makes me wonder how long most of them had even been drinking...I went up once with another long time friend, and we were drinking more than all of them and smoking hitters all night...They all started asking us how the hell we were doing it, and if we always smoke that much pot...We kind of laughed at it and realized what we were dealing with...Kids who a year or two or ago were straight edgers, and don't have too much scope on the whole "scene" I guess...I honestly don't give a damn what they think and just do whatever I want when I go to those big annoying alcoholic stupor house parties, but then again I don't go to that school...Regardless, it doesn't stop me any other time, so I'd say just don't tell someone what your on until you get a better idea where they come from, and give an excuse about your condition if they ask...If their not "cool" they'll usually buy it anyway I've noticed....

As a side note, I live with a non-drug user, who's totally cool with smoking pot so we get along fine...I haven't touched anything but weed for a couple of months, and when all of our friends come over and drink, I just smoke as much they drink, and laugh at them falling over each other verbally, physically, and emotionally(always a good time)...But when someone comes over I don't know, as long as it isn't a parent or a sibling, I smoke as freely as I always would...It's my house, and they can go into another room if they don't enjoy being around it...That's never happened though, everyone usually is understanding if they don't smoke...At my old house, I was always waxed, or coked up, or in some other altered state when everyone was drinking, as I haven't been much of a drinker in the past year...Nobody seemed to notice all that much...
 
Once I was so stupid when I was on coke.. I told my friends I was acting weird and if they would mind If i did another line..

They were actually really into me doing it -_-.. Morons.. I almost killed one of em. He laughed so hard or something he almost blew the coke off so I got pissed.

I have no idea to the correct way to deal with this 'problem' other than come to my house and party with me!
 
Most of my friends are extremely anti drugs and have written me off as a fuckup because I've done shrooms a few times etc. HAHA shame I'm more healty than any of them who drink themselves into oblivion every weekend.

My advice to you would be take whatever you want and be responsible, SHOW them that drugs aren't bad and tell the to respect your choices.

i've rolled once around drunk ppl...it wasn't that i annoyed them...they annoyed me...and while i was sittin' in my truck listenin' to the radio they tried to flip it...and they were headbuttin' everybody that was there...so i stayed in my ride and then after a lil while i rode to town and didn't get back to the house until like 9am
 
I have went to partys where everyone was drinking and using coke. But man did they frown apon meth use and other drugs. I dont recommend it. Meth use I wouldnt see how drunks would notice. Do it before u get there or go in the bathroom and do a line. I wouldnt bust out with a foil or pipe :) Rolling would be hard to hide and you would get on there nerves and they would get on yours. But then again you could just be yourself have fun and dont worry about what others think. :)
 
Would people recognise that you're 'on drugs' if you were to take two pills before the party?
 
I live in a drug-free college (I know, its almost an oxymoron :\...) so everyone's poison of choice is alcohol. I've become quite close friends with them and I think I would feel uncomfortable being on anything except alcohol with them. Although I am going to try weed or E out one night and see how things go.

BBB - I think having a couple of pills before a party would be fine. Just keep a drink in your hand all night and people will think you're just having a great time. If someone asks what you're drinking and you don't feel like telling them you're rolling, just lie to them. Generally at a house party where there's music and free-flowing alcohol no-ones taking much notice of how everyone is acting anyway.
 
I tripped with 3 of my buddies at one of their houses a while ago. His brother was having a party with a keg, there were about 10 people there. The drunk people got into a brawl and us trippers freaked out and thought the cops were going to get called on us (it got really loud and violent). Luckily it broke up after a few minutes and no police came.
 
i hate going to keggers and huge parties while fucked up on most drugs. i hate rolling around drunk people, trippin is even worse everyone there is all like "woah man" waving their hands in your face n shit. plus i just feel sketchy trippin or rolling around alot of people who aren't down with it. however i love doing coke or OC's at big keg parties n shit, it adds to the drunk funness and makes me more social
 
One of my best house party visits was on the comedown of a great LSD trip. I had a great trip, and me and my friend decided to stop by this other friend's house at the end of the night to see if people were still partying.. sure enough, the house was still bumping and we had a GREAT time. I was so much "chiller" than I am around people sober.. it was like I wasn't tripping anymore and was just left with the quickened mind.

This ONE dude I knew through work was there, and I knew he was anti-drug.. ended up in a conversation with him until I got paranoid and started tripping sack again.. I kept frantically looking back and forth past him in an attempt to avoid eye-contact until he finally said "Too hot for me in here, man" and walked out.. hahaha..
