Hello all! This is my first post and I know this seems like a dumb question/idea on the surface so let me clarify. I have been keeping my hydrocodone cwe filters and storing them. I know cwe is very effective when done correctly but, product is still lost. I typically filter crushed pills once through a single cup unbleached coffee filter and notice significant difference in strength. I estimate I lose somewhere between 15-20%. That's simply based on the quality of high under near identical conditions. I am hoping an 8-10 pill filter will contain enough opiate to stave off w/d until my script is filled. This is an option I am only considering when I come up a couple days short. I am familiar with max single and 24 hour doses of apap and realize that at the 8-10 (325 mg apap) dose I yield with my cwe will exceed max single dose. All feedback much appreciated! I have gained a lot over the past couple years from BL.

If you are losing product during the wash then washing and then correctly filtering what you have will get you 'something' that may stop you becoming sick. What about trying loperamide? May be safer than washing all your old filters and is pretty easily available.I have tried loperamide. It helped prevent mud butt but, that was about it. The main reason I considered eating the washed apap/binder was in hopes of getting a little opiate out of it so I would have some energy. I ended up eating the contents of a filter and then soaked the filter in some soda and drank it. It worked much better than I hoped it would! It was an 8 or 10 pill filter. I really do not advise eating that much apap but, I did it as a one time thing to hold me over for 1 day. I guess my cwe technique needs some work! I am a very experienced opiate user with a pretty large tolerance. I estimate there was approximately
30 mg of the good stuff in the old sludge. One reason for this estimated amount could be that I usually place the last used filter inside the new filter I am extracting so, product could potentialy be transferred to the new filter. Generally I would not feel any effects from 30mg of oxy or hydro(both seem to be equal strength to me)but, I had very little opiate intake for 3 days leading up to this little experiment and I used dxm/cimetidine for potentiation prior to dosing.
