Opioids Using codeine (tylenol 3), to ease the comedown of focalin (dexmethlyphenidate)

Hello, today swim took roughly 70mg of focalin which is an amphetamine similar to ritalin. swim has just about reached the come down effects of this dose(irritability,restlesness,insomnia,racing thoughts ect,) swim has 5 tylenol 3s laying around containg a certain amount of apap i think the apap content is 500mg it also contains 30mg of codeine per pill. any information on if swim should take these to help him sleep, or reduce the bad side affects of the focalin, or information about how to take these for best recreational effects as well as how many swim should take given these circumstances. please give me mature responses ty.
 
Well, if it is a Tylenol 3 it also has 40 mg caffeine in it. But, if you have no opiate tolerance, or anything, take 2 - 3. 3 will have you feeling quite good. By the way Focalin isn't an amphetamine.
 
Hey, just to start I wanna say we don't use SWIM on these forums.

As for your question, I find opiates to be the absolute best drug for stimulant comedowns. If they're brand name Tylenol 3's then they contain 300mg Acetaminophen, so I'd say just pop them, this isn't a dangerous amount of Acetaminophen to do as long as you don't do it often. If you have no opiate tolerance at all, I'd take 3 and see how you feel. If you don't feel much, take the other 2.

Edit: Tylenol 3's (brand name) only have 30mg of caffeine per pill. If you're opiate naive, this won't even be noticeable.
 
alright sorry bout the swim thing, my first forum account, my opiate tolerance is mild to mediate,(around 35mg of oxycodone should have me nodding), so im gunna take the 5 and smoke my self to sleep with some nice bud my friend gave me. but my stomache is rather empty right now due to the loss of apperite the focalin brings me, do you think these t3s could cause me to vomit, although i have not yaked of an opiate for over a year. my opiate use is on and of, meaning i mostly do them when they are available. and my final question is do you have any idea of when the tylenol 3s start to give noticable effects, reach the peak high, and their duration. ty

damn i wasn not aware of the caffeine content, although it prbly wont effect my sleeping, but if focalin is not an amphetamine what class of drug would it be?
 
Technically speaking it's an NDRI (Norephinephrine/Dopamine Re-uptake Inhibitor) More vaguely, it's a stimulant... Chemically its closer related to Cocaine than Amphetamine.

And don't worry, like I said, if you're brand new to opiates, the Codeine will far outweigh the caffeine.
