Opioids Using acetone to separate caffeine from codeine, seeking advice

I start with OTC 8mg codeine with 30mg caffeine and 500mg APAP. I do the CWE and end up with a nice clear mix of codeine/caffeine solution but have never gone any further. I just bought some 100% pure acetone, how to proceed? After I do a CWE I usually end up with a solution of about 150mg codeine in about 4oz water with way too much caffeine, thanks. Acetone instruction would be great.

If it's actually 100% (no bitterant, anhydrous) you got it from a chemical supply chain. Once youve confirmed that, for the most part just look up the solubility of each compound in acetone, do your water extract (for codeine you want to start with hot water and then bring it down to a cold temp, codeine needs higher Temps than morph to be soluble). After that, evaporate it into powder, dissolve the powder in acetone, wait a minute, filter, and whichever is not soluble (cod/caf) will be left in the filter.
