Using a vapouriser with sinus problems?

I've just had an operation on my nose and sit here with blood dripping down my throat and running out my nose.

And on that note...

I've been told by the doctors that smoking is a really bad idea with my condition (sinusitis) and so I would like to know if anyone knows if vapourising is an acceptable alternative? Obviously eating weed is an option, however I've never really enjoyed the high when taking it that way.

I think I'd let your sinuses heal, take any pain meds you're scripted, and save the weed for after you heal a bit. Blood running everywhere doesn't sound pleasant, and I don't think doing anything that you aren't sure about or that can pose a risk of hindering your recovery would be a good idea.

Vape mist is certainly gentler than smoke, but it still tends to dry your sinuses out a lot. It helps alleviate my allergies, but it sounds like it would aggravate the surgical site.

If you're desperate then there's always an iso extraction ---> sublingual. You might like the high better than eating. I've had success using thc extractions sublingually. YMMV though.

Thanks for the responses, just to be clear I've no intention of getting stoned in the immediate future. I'm going to wait a month or two to heal, I just wanted to know if vapourising will cause less nasal damage than smoking to someone with my condition.
