Okay, so lately I've been extremely anxious. My Ativan script is out until like the 9th. I used to smoke pot to relieve my anxiety, but now its a roll of the dice. I don't know the strain so its basically heads I get more anxious, tails I get a nice high and some sedation. So usually I use oxycodone or morphine in low doses to help ease my anxiety. And it works great, and I usually use 3 days out of the week sometimes. Or I'll go for a week straight and stop for 2 weeks. Whatever it takes to calm me down.

Here's where things change, 3 days ago for the first time I bought a ten sack of dope. Snorted it, loved it. I hate to admit it, but it eased my anxiety, made me social, and I felt overall good about my life. I've used it for the past 3 days. The fact it was only ten dollars but felt like I just railed a blue was absurd to me. So cheap. And for me the effects of H last a ton longer when snorted. I just have some concerns. Is there any safe way to use dope? Should I use it in a similar fashion to oxy? I'm not addicted to painkillers (been using for the past two years) and I've never experienced a withdraw. I crave it, but that's not hard to suppress. Is heroin more addictive than oxycodone or morphine? And if I use in a similar fashion to my painkiller use should I continue to be fine and not risk withdraw or higher risk of addiction? I understand everyone's different but even a half ass answer will help me out.

tl;dr
Is heroin more addictive than morphine, oxycodone, etc.?
Does heroin produce withdraw symptoms faster than oxycodone/morphine? Or is it pretty much the same. Because honestly, I don't understand why H gets a bad wrap but people will sit there and pop oxycontins like crazy. Seems ironic.

It's not really any worse, it's more of your personal habits with ROA and dosage timing/rate. All opiates are addicting in the same way, Heroin gets a bad wrap because of it's price and value, as an 80mg oxycodone high can cost 10-20x less money when achieved using heroin.

H gets a bad wrap because it has this very bad stigma attached to it.. people think of heroin and picture homeless junkies shooting up on the street. Just more propaganda bull shit. The reality of it is that prescription drugs can be just as addictive if not more so depending on the person. They ruin a lot of lives.

Thanks for the quick replies, and yeah that's kinda the image I used to have about it. Then I found out about opiates and their medical properties. Put the two together and just seem baffled by the idea doctors are prescribing people with heroin basically.

Quick question though, I get a slight headache the day after. Is that normal? Or is probably a cutting agent used? Not even sure what people are cutting it with to be honest.

^ I've never experienced headaches, but everyone is different. But bro you said weed works for your anxiety if only you knew the exact strain? I'd HIGHLY recommend you just took the amount of time that would take before you start getting anxiety cuz you haven't had a hit of dope in the last couple hours :(

Opiates cause headaches. I don't really experience them anymore but i remember my first years of using and i would get nausea and headaches all the time. Its normal, take a tylenol (ONE OR TWO tylenol that shit'll fuck your liver up more than H will) and you'll be fine and dandy mandy. Heroin is stigmatized because of propaganda, and like most things, proper research reveals many lies that most think are facts, and many benefits that most wont believe exist. Whatever, more for us responsible (Or well, just informed) users! :)

A lot of times that is caused by dehydration. Drink a lot of water when using and the day after.

There's my problem. No wonder powerade feels like a miracle drug.
Thank you, I love you.

Excuse my compassion, I just did an eighth of shrooms and its climbing.

Heroin has a short half life so dependence develops quicker than a lot of RX opiates, and if you think your anxiety is bad now, wait until you go into withdrawl....

in my area, about 2-3 bags of ur average everyday bullshit dope is equal to an oxy 80...
