USA VS Mexico

the United States soccer team is playing the Mexican football club, in my home city, Columbus, nontheless. Columbus has been buzzing with soccer love lately because the Columbus Crew won the MLS cup.

the Americans are up 1-0 against the Mexicans.

who else is watching?

does BL care about soccer?

i was watching the first half of england vs spain this morning. mediocre play by english and the one spain goal was fucking brilliant. the footplay was phenomenal.

yeah, I am a big Spain fan but I was sad I got to miss that game. now I have to drive back from the outskirts of Columbus to where I live (which is minutes away from the Columbus soccer stadium). traffic is going to be a bitch.

Is this game still on? Might catch it streaming. I quite liked the USA team of about 2002, but recently has been not so good.

Mexico are a good side though.

and the european cup interests me a lil bit

the first year i went to the netherlands 1988 i arrived the morning after they had just won the european cup i was like whoa whats all these people doing out 6 am waving orange flags
i stayed there for 6 weeks
and those crazy dutchies were still partying when i left

Yea I was living in Germany in '06 while they were hosting the World Cup. I never cared for soccer until then.

Good to see USA did well.....They thoroughly disappointed me in '06 after their nice run in '02
