a massive opiate OD would feel like nothing. I OD'd before, and felt nothing. I didn't even know I had OD'd until somebody told me after reviving me.
What if they were able to use heroin on death row, and had a big enough tolerance for it to be a slow and painful way out as described above?
Of course they could just have another even larger dosage ready to administer if that were to happen, so that's probably what they would do if needed.
I wouldn't want to die from an opiate overdose.
One cigarette may contain 1.2 milligrams of nicotine. It's been claimed that this amount could kill 7 adults if it was injected.
Indeed it is. It isn't manufactured in huge pharmaceutical quantities any more, due to being phased out of human medical use. It's still used for veterinary purposes, particularly anesthesia and euthanasia.
Since rehabilitation is out of the question here, do you think that the death penalty should serve primarily to punish, or to deter future crimes?
Do you see an irony in the term "capital punishment"?
I don't mean these to be rhetorical questions.
How would being injected with enough pure nicotine feel?
Would it kill someone instantly?
