Hello everyone!

Are you interested in participating in a Psilocybin Use Survey? I am a PhD candidate at Palo Alto University recruiting participants for my dissertation study.

We are seeking USA-based participants for a research study. The purpose of this research study is to compare behavior and cognition between individuals who have recently used psilocybin and individuals who have not. This is an online survey that may ask some sensitive questions about substance use. The survey will take about 30 minutes to complete.

If you HAVE taken psilocybin in the last 30 days and would like to participate, please follow the
link below.

If you HAVE NOT taken psilocybin in the last 30 days and would like to participate, please follow
the link below.

Although we would be very grateful for your participation, you can enter a drawing for a $100 Amazon.com gift card whether you decide to be in the study or not by clicking here.

This study has received ethical approval from Palo Alto University’s IRB. The researchers have made a donation to Bluelight. For more information about the study or to get in contact with the study team, please contact Rachel Barry at [email protected]. Thank you for your consideration.

I have been using shrooms for years. I used to give micro doses to my old,gf for her schizophrenia. And, yes it was working along with her other meds. I used to be a tester for the pranksters back in the 80s. I have some psilocybin right now and use it when I get depressed. Ken Kesey was a person I knew from Eugene county fair, and he said, Psychedelic drugs will be the cure for mental illnesses in the future. I hope your research pans out.. I have also frequented the church of the inner light in NYC. It was the peyote church but my friend was not Native American so it became the Di propyltriptamine based church. They made it instead of DMT because of it being legal. If you have any questions 🙏 please contact me at [email protected]

Why all require USA based participants?
It s a survey. I don't need to be in person and limiting this to just USA I think it deprives the study of usefull information from international users

May I suggest the following: Allow everyone in the USA to fill in the form. Why? Because there will be a lot of interest in viewing just what the study is about, so some will dodge the three or so initial filter questions to read the survey.
Or let the participant know their response is to be excluded and allow them to view the survey anyway.
I think you will agree, there's a LOT of interesting folk on here with interesting - even if very
different from the societal "norm" - lives?

Hi! Thank you for the suggestion. The IRB recently approved a change to exclusion criteria. I am now able to recruit all USA based participants who meet the screening requirements regardless of age. If you would like to hear more about the research study please send me an email and I would be happy to connect [email protected]. Thank you so much for your interest in my study :)
