US Doctors Receiving Illegal Kickbacks from Pharm Companies To Push Meds

i dont know if it is true, but i have heard of doctors in canada getting vacations and gifts and shit to hand out free samples... but i have no way of verifying this.

Doctors/mostly pharm companies are the biggest drug dealers in The u.s. no surprise, its a system revolved around money and not care, they sort out the people who "abuse" their meds and take their prescriptions away so they don't look as bad to the public eye----hoping they dont catch on and we're at fault not them( they really know whats going on) and can push more dope. They know there will always be another innocent kid they can get hooked to replace the ones that "abuse" or are smoking the "evil" drug marijuana while taking their medication.....the war on drugs this country thinks they can beat somehow will never end as long as this keeps going, haha like it will end anyway, more drug users by the day lol and doctors are at fault just as much as the local dope dealer.......... doctors are the biggest gateway to purchasing illegal drugs in america

people are just dumb sometimes they think their neatly bottled medications aren't as "bad" as heroin , like the lil wyte song hah "big things come in small packages"

uh, where in the article did it say it was legal to take kickbacks? Sounds like doctors were being investigated and busted. I still agree it happens all the time, though.

No, this is ridiculous and conspiracy kookery. They will on the other hand give grants to doctors that will show positive study results for their drugs. The doctor who's writing the next DSM entry for bi polar disorder is kind of a nut ball and thinks all depression is bi polar related, he backs this up with lots of research funded by companies that have a big interest in selling the next generation anti-psychotics (seroquel, abilify, etc). All this research made him an expert in the field despite his ideas being a bit stupid.

A broader definition of bi polar is like a wet dream to these companies.

I can't be sure but it really seems like my pain doc is receiving some kind of benefit from prescribing me Nucynta. Don't get me wrong, it works very well for pain but I have to take it 4 times a day. On three days out of the week I'm at work at 5am and straight to school until 8pm. It's a pain in the neck to remember to take my pills with me and remember to take them. After telling all this to my doc and complaining three seperate visits of the crazy drymouth and slight headache I get he had an excuse every time to keep me on Nucynta.

handing out free samples is a lot different then prescribing someone a drug though... the drug companies dont make anything from free samples, they do from insurance companies paying for prescriptions.

if i knew my doctor was getting a vacation for giving me a free sample, i'd take it just to help the guy out. then i'd probably throw it out....

Im sure they're getting kick backs but its not even on the fun drugs...these docs are giving free samples of things to their patients that we (the public) see lawsuit commercials about a few years later...
Think we're just a bunch of guinea pigs...
And we let them think this...
Apathy is the new black...
