US - Cocaine is losing its dubious status as drug of choice

its not judgmental its common fucking sense. im not saying anyone is a bad person for doing any drugs. i just dont understand when people do these drugs such as heroin, crack, meth, etc. when they have been taught from birth that you can easily get addicted to that shit. i know that it makes you feel really good but thats whats addicting about it. obviously this is a generalization because some people can get addicted to things like weed when most people dont. but i just do not see why you would want to try some of these drugs when you can see how bad it has fucked up a lot people that have done them. im not saying they are bad i just think that when you do something you know is addicting you are asking to be addicted. who else can you blame but yourself?

and this isnt just from listening to all the anti drug propaganda. i have known a few addicts in my life. and you can do a little fucking research on your own to see how addictive something is

Only 1 out of 10 users of cocaine will wind up addicted ten years later. I learned this statistic in my highschool AP psychology class; if they were goingt o fudge it I think they would have gone the other way.

In my area coke was hardly ever around and there was little demand for it. Pharmaceuticals are much more popular, especially among regular stimulant users. One night of reasonably hard partying on Rx amphetamines or some of the speedier RCs can be done for roughly half the cost of a comparable amount of cocaine (due to it's high cost and short duration), making it very impractical. Personally, I've always thought coke was mostly hype, with amphetamines and (some) cathinones being my favorite stimulants.

Exactly.
I'm actually more productive on it than amphetamine, but oral cocaine is still too expensive, and I'm not going to start railing lines every 45 minutes (good coke).
