Heroin URGENT Question on Poppy Harvest

So tomorrow will be the day of the harvest and in Opium for the Masses by Jim Hogshire, he talks about a method of getting opium from the poppy by cutting the pods off the plant, hanging them upside down and piercing them with a thick needle and letting them drip for the night. It is going to rain tomorrow so scoring isn't an option i don't think. I was just wondering if any of you have heard or tried this method before. i will post results tomorrow, THANK YOU :)
 
BUddy, I hate to burst ya bubble but these questions are not allowed on Bluelight... What you're doing is attempting manufacturing of illegal drugs. From what I have heard the plant must be alive in the ground to gain most alkaloids from it... You're lucky I gave you somewhat a reasonable answer... This thread shall be closed.
