Sorry mods for not postin it in the current meth amp. threads but I need it answered ASAP so close it after its been answered...

Who has personally experienced or know people that have when it comes to missing a whole shot of 80 - 90mg of high quality methylamphetamine to ~ 20-25 units? Without goin into too much detail, was in the biggest rush, had to fish around to register, felt a couple of very sharp pains and next thing ya know, bobs ya uncle and you now have half a pingpong (in size) lump on your arm :o:o:!:p:X

I got the taste/rush but my arms is a mess and its got a red rash and the swelling isnt goin down... since meth. amp. is a salt and the shot was just it dissolved in water (ie. no chalk, pill binders ect ect.) will this go down over the next 24 hours if I keep apply tea tree ointment (some anti infection cream for cuts, ect.) or should I bust out a plan to see the shrink?

Once again, sorry for makin a thread but its nearly 1am and I kinda need an answer before all you non cooked cunts wake up (also, I dont mean your all cunts, if you havnt caught on, I refer to everything/one as cunt.. bad habit, I know8))

25 units isn't too much, half a ping pong sized lump sounds much bigger??? Try the injections complications megathread over in the other drugs forum if you don't get enough answers here?

I'd elevate the arm and run hot water over it, or apply very light pressure with a hot cloth. If the lump doesn't go dissipate over the next 24 hours you could have an abscess and it's time to swallow your pride and get medical attention. Oh and do not use that vein again for a long time, if at all, you could have speared straight through it causing considerable trauma!

essentially you've performed a subcutaneous shot with the solution that didn't make it into the vein. over a few hours it will absorb and the drug enter your blood system,

if the swelling doesn't subside within 24hrs and starts to worsen it's time to take action; see a doctor. running hot water and holding a warm compress over the area will also speed up the absorption rate.

as belarki said check out the IV complications thread in OD - Injection; IV Complications and Information MEGATHREAD and FAQ II - show me the blood

eta - didnt fully read b's post but yeah, the man is on the money
