I am currently prescribed 5mg oxycodone tablets for back problems. I have been on lortab for months and neither the 10mg lortab nor 5mg oxy tablets are working for my pain. I do not want to sound like a "junkie" but I truly need something stronger to counteract this pain. I had to miss work for 3 days due to the pain. (Couldn't get out of bed). What should I say or how should I get it across to y doctor that there really is a significant pain that these low doses are not covering. Anyone with advice please let it flow. Thanks guys/girls!
