I haven't done any opiates in over a week, and I haven't been really sick either,. I did some hydrocodone last week but not enough to set me back into WD< anyways I wanted to get high so I got some codiene., now bear in mind I haven't been sick lately even though I haven't been using opiates. I was over pretty much the detox part. so I did about 160 mg of codiene at 12 pm today, I got some subs, and before you ask me why, let me clarify because I have such a low tolerance to most opiates anyways an 8 mg sub will keep me high as a kite for a whole week so thats why, anyways I took the codiene at noon, it's now upon midnight, is it safe to start snorting some of the sub? any combined resp depression from the earlier code use today? I shouldn't go into Precip WD if I wasn't sick anymore to begin with right? and yeah you read right, I have about a 30 mg hydro tolerance to feel great and now I'm fuckin with 8 mg subs. Please answer soon
thanks!

I'm not certain how long you should wait before taking some of the sub. However, just a word to the wise, the stuff is very potent so start small, considering your tolerance I would suggest .25 - .75mg (tops and that may even be too much).

Bupe is an antagonist to some opioid receptors and has much higher binding affinity, and as such, if you are on bupe chances are you will not feel a thing from other opioids. It overpowers them.

You don't have to be sick to go into preci withdrawal. Precipitated withdrawal is pretty much when the opiates on the receptors are suddenly knocked off by the suboxone in this case.

I would wait over 24 hours since the last codeine dose before taking the suboxone.... There is no reason to rush taking the suboxone since it's not like you are sick. When the time comes when you do take the suboxone, take an extremely small amount and wait to see if any precip withdrawal symptoms occur. If they do, then you didn't wait long enough.

You should generally wait until the Codeine's effects have subsided, and wait longer then the half-life (you're in the clear on that one).

Yea I am usually very conservative when I respond to posts about taking suboxone after other opiates and how long to wait. The reason being is that many people on here have reported precipitated withdrawals when the original opiate should have already been out of their system.

Oh, and shouldn't they wait longer than the full-life, and not the half-life?:\ Either way they are in the clear by now, but they should wait the full amount of time it takes for the drug to get out of their system.

yeah I got some 2 mg subs a while back and my buddy took a quarter of one and was puking for 12+ hours. these are 4X as strong as that, I just snort Tiny, Tiny bumps for my doses
