Unusual comedown effects. What should I do?

So 2 weekends ago I ate some molly (about .2) and felt pretty bad for a couple days afterwards (heart rate unusually high). This past weekend I went to a 3 day run of concerts and ate acid the first night (1 hit) molly (very clean) the second (.1) and both acid (1 hit) and molly (.2 ish) the last night. The last night was sunday and it's now wednesday and I'm having anxiety every once in awhile as well as a constant elevated heart rate (enough that it is clearly noticeable). I also have small muscle spasms and bad headaches from time to time.

I recently came off prozac this summer after being on it for over 10 years. I am currently on Keppra for a seizure disorder that I have not had problems with for 9 years. I have used both of these substances ~20 times each before without these issues.

What have I done to myself? Should I see a doctor?

You should take a nice break from MDMA. You're supposed to wait at least one month between rolls and you rolled for 3 days in a row.

I'm aware of that I don't plan on rolling again for a long time. Trust me. Also, I didn't roll 3 nights in a row. One weekend then two nights in a row the next weekend. Is this something that is just going to wear off or should I be worried?

Of course the safest thing would be to go and see a doctor as soon as you can. They are unusual symptoms and the drug (assuming you actually took pure MDMA) is no longer active in your body.

It will wear off in a couple weeks. Sounds much like a panic attack you're having. Some people's anxiety gets worse for a long while after MDMA abuse. You need to slow wayyyy down. I wouldn't touch MDMA again for at least three months, maybe longer.

The MDMA is out of your system by now. Whatever problem you're having is most likely psychological (I say psychological because if it was a reaction from the drug it would've happened while on the drug..). Slow down on the MDMA - 3 times in 2 weeks is retarded. Good luck, and keep in mind that no one on Bluelight is YOUR doctor. If you feel like it's getting worse or if the problem is threatening your life, go see your doctor.

Thanks folks. No desire to use MDMA for a very long time. I think it is likely anxiety, I used to have anxiety issues when I was younger and it feels similar. I think a long spell of sobriety will do it along with some exercise and good food.

Excellent words. I understand this and feel the same way, I just wanted to know from some more experienced users what might me going on and if it really was out of the ordinary or just a really shitty comedown.

Hey, I made a thread a few days ago with similar symptoms. I get anxiety for nearly a week after, but it goes away after a week. Just started taking 5htp to decrease the hangover time.

Were these some of your first rolls or are you experienced with MDMA?

Do not EVER roll 2 days in a row. I speak from having done this twice, and having the worst fucking hangover in existance afterwards. Hangover from one day of MDMA is usually more of an afterglow where everything is great for a week afterwards. Hangover from 2 days in a row is being completely useless, braindead, basically unable to feel happy from day 2 onward for a week, and in general just hurting because you nuked your serotonin reserves.

That's not even getting into the brain damage (yes, 2 days in a row will undoubtedly give you brain damage, minor as it may have been whenever I did it I could definately notice some minor glitches caused by it). MDMA neurotoxicity is prevented by antioxidants, of which there are a limited supply. The first night you were fine because you didn't completely use up that barrier (or if you did there was still not much dangerous exposure). Second night that was severely depleted to start with, so you had MDMA fucking up cells from the moment you dropped.

Not exaggerating at all here, 2 days in a row is guaranteed brain damage. Everyone else here is loading up on antioxidants and 5-HTP to prevent neurotoxicity while also spacing doses out, if you do none of this you're in for a world of hurt.

Its different for different people man.
They say that your suposed to wait that long but my friends (5 of them) used to roll every single friday saturday and sunday for about a year.

Now it makes all of them sick thinking about it but non of them had any problems and a lot of other people in my area where taking them that many times a week

oh my friend, how many times I've said the same thing, "im not touching mdma (pills) or what ever in a loooong ass time"... well, kind of happened that after my serotonins levels are all right again, im back on it lol....

just do do it 2 days straight... or every weekend or every other weekend...

ok, I do not wish to call you a lier or anything, but seriusly man, do you think we are the first generation trying mdma for 2 days in a row in the history of ppl kind??? dude, there are ppl out there taking pills and mdma on regular basis, back in the 90s ppl went really fucking crazy with this sht...yes they kind of get fucked up, and probably will have permant long term damage, but if 2 days in a row means SURE BRAIN DAMAGE... North America and EUROPE should be a zombie walking continents...

Im pretty sure we're all guilty of doing it 2 days in a row. I've done 3 times in my life but im never doing it again lol. All in all space out your rolls as long as possible.

I think the whole idea here is harm reduction. I wouldn't suggest someone get black out drunk two nights in a row; it isn't healthy and also causes neurotoxicity. Do you know people who have? Probably so. Are they zombies? Not unless they do this on a regular basis.

Just because people have done it in the past or you can walk away from it seemingly unchanged (outside of a horrible hangover), that is not a reason to condone that type of action. By making light of an abusive action, you encourage it's return. Thats when the real significant damage begins.
