Wow, It has been five years since I've visited or posted on this website. I guess time flies when you're busy straightening out your life. 'Words' was my favorite part of this forum and got me through a lot of tough times in my life. I hope everyone continues to write from within because your pieces touch people more than you might ever know. "Thank you"

This has no title but I felt the urge to spill it out:
I saw the shadow beneath my feet
As I rose from darkness
Into a place I now call intermission
I’m contempt now.
With
Confidence to succeed
Or possibly believing I can.
I miss all the significant other(s) that have left
I miss finding myself in them
I
Miss
Waiting for my chance to soar upward
But now I wait to be free.
