i dont know whether to be angry
or humored
because the one thing i've been looking for
wasnt in the last place i looked
it was somewhere i never even looked before.
granted i wasnt really looking
and it just sorta came about
randomly
much like all of life's little pieces
strung together in this thing we call time
but starting from the beginning
it was neither this nor that
it just was
and i guess i took it for granted
and didnt realize what i had
until it was almost gone
isnt that always the case though?
so i guess we'll see what happens
thinking about something i never thought about before
or at least not like that
until i turned green
and then realized
i cant give it up just yet
