Untested "MDMA" is not safe to take anymore. (RC's)

I read this forum a lot, and I also remember the days when most pressed pills were MDMA and the worst we had to fear was getting a DXM press.

Today, due to the unprecedented proliferation of untested, new research chemicals it is clear to me from reading the posts in this forum for at least the last year, is that whatever they're selling these people is NOT MDMA. MDMA does NOT cause the type of mental health problems (and phsyical ones too) that plague this forum. A recent statement from the DEA indicates that only 13% of "MDMA" pills in circulation today are actually MDMA.

Stay safe and abstain until real MDMA comes around again, if it ever does. Unless you are lucky enough to still have a connection for the real thing, and you've tested your gear.
 
I think its a two pronged problem - Easily available RC's and people thinking that all 'Molly' is MDMA.

I tend to think that sticking with pressed pills is safer than buying random bags of a substance.
 
I quit taking that shit unless it's tested. I took a gold bar the other day but like i won't go about rolling often on untested pills. That's when you'd experience all the nasty side effects
 
Test kits are more important then ever but they are also more available then ever. As far as I am concerned no one absolutely no one has an excuse for not having a test kit. You can even get them on Amazon by setting up an Amazon account and getting a gift card you dont even need a credit card or be 18 all you need is Amazon and a mail box.

The one thing that was "nice" about RCs is that methylone wasnt all that bad. No I would never by it as MDMA but as methylone and at the price it should be it was a nice alternative.

the high is good and that adds to the confusion. some people get pretty bad aftereffects including tachykardia, chest pains (i've never heard of that from mdma even once before rcs came around) and weeklong depression. we've seen a few posts with exactly these effects after consuming "mdma" powder/crystals...

if you got dxm, bzp or something instead of mdma you'd never think that the drug you got would be called "ecstasy"...
 
Well, now that methylone is Schedule I in the U.S. (have no clue about its legality in Hungary, China, Canada, etc.) it's pretty much dead and gone anyway. It appears to have been replaced by 5-MAPB for the time being.

Basically, I just want to drive home the point that no amount of real MDMA causes the severity and types of maladies we're seeing following the ingestion of whatever the hell the drug marketers are ruthlessly feeding generally drug naive kids today.

My LTC was aggravated (And actually triggered) because of caffeine/taurine, so I totally agree with you: it's very dangerous to take something without testing it first
 
You answered your own question with my quote.... Buyung reputable pills also means you know that someone has taken the common press, survived and says mdma. Also just looking for a clean solid pill vs a weak press.
 
^ i disagree. assuming the contents of a pill based on how it looks (alone) is potentially dangerous.

how do you know you've bought a "reputable pill" and not a bunk pill that just looks like a reputable pill?

Never disagreed with the fact it's dangerous to take unknown substance. Usually HQ pills are pressed well firm not chipping or falling apart if handled well although a fake can be HQ. It's about practices that reduce harm and risk of course leaving the possibility of risk, but much less than if no practices are taken to reduce harm.
 
I've had fire as hell pressed hard and some crumbly. But the filthiest presses I've had were hard as a rock. So looks and textures don't matter fully. I will say real mdma presses do tend to have a high quality sharp stamp. Just like with designer clothes, the fakes have off logos. But the truth lies within not on the outside with beans.
 
I haven't taken any substance, MDMA or otherwise, that hasn't been GC/MS tested for over a year now. I don't see any reason to ingest something if you don't know what it is, and why trust a drug dealer of all people to give you the substance you're asking for. I have to say though, after switching to buying from the darknet, only once have I received something that wasn't the substance advertised, it was Methylone sold as MDMA, and Methylone is hardly the worst of these new RCs. I wouldn't say that "MDMA doesn't cause the type of mental health problems you see in this forum" though. MDMA is definitely capable of doing you some real damage if you use too frequently and/or dose too high. I think this focus on "is it/isn't it MDMA" has taken focus away from the fact that even with real MDMA, you still need to be careful.
