It was oh so obvious, but you said you had too.
Sometimes it's better when things go unspoken.
But now the myth, it has been soundly broken.
I guess I've always had the truth in my heart.
but when reality and dreams differed, I kept them apart.
I've tried to think of a way it could be
but never shall you and I be "we"
