It has come to my attention that my good friend the hawaiian baby woodrose is a hugely undervalued psychedelicacy to many psych users. This is probably due to a number of reasons, but may be primarily attributable to nausea. I have experimented a number of times with hbwr and I will briefly summarise here;
1) six hardish seeds are chewed and swallowed, alcohol consumed just prior to effects being felt. Conclusion: bad idea, got intended effects which were nice, but the resulting nausea was terrible, terrible gas, I dropped my guts at one point expecting little noise, but resulted in an audible product, I was then told to leave the room, lol Other than the inescapable gastric discomfort, this was a nice trip, I remember thinking "If it weren't for my guts I could drift away on the wings of my thoughts."
2) five rock hard seeds are roughly ground in a mortar and pestle and then put in a tea bag containing ginger, which was thought to lessen nausea, it didn't. This was infused in hot water, didn't taste too bad but didn't really get too many LSA type effects. Sweet mary slightly smoothed the nausea and created a subtle synergy. Funny night actually, even though my friend threw up on my doorstep ( glad he got out of the house) his afterthoughts; "Head full of aseed and a stomach full of milk - milk was a bad choice'
This brings me to my highly highly highly recommended mode of administration;
Pick them green, this is thought to lessen the nasties in the seeds that cause nausea by reducing the time for these nasties develop. I am unsure of how much, if any, reduction of LSAs occurs but it should be noted that four seeds is an adequate dose. My aforementioned friend felt a little nausea on these, he said hardly any, and that the nausea was very short lived. A great way of reducing the nausea is a nice pipe of bud. Nice waves of euphoria, mild perceptual changes and weird thought patterns.
Anyone growing Argreia, please learn from experiments that have been done in the Aussie Ethnobotanical scene and pick em green. These are best frozen, to keep them from hardening, and if you are worried about nausea you can even peel the seeds skin back to reveal a tiny green leaf that looks like a brain and simply mung that down.
Also these things are great by themselves but fucking fantastic when combined with other psychedelics, makes acid stronger( got a broad lysergic spectrum), adds a weird euphoria to shrooms and ime lessens the fear response to DMT and for lack of a better word normalises the experience. These are a great launchpad substance.
So beware these lovely seeds no longer
